froyo & gotham beta - jocala - 2014-04-10 I maintain my mysql video database using OS X froyo in the office and watch in the living room using openelec froyo. If I run a gotham beta on firetv and access mysql will this hose my database in any way for my stable machines on froyo? I was under the impression that with mysql all boxes on a network needed to be running the same release. RE: Amazon Fire TV for XBMC - Set845 - 2014-04-10 The keyboard.xml file from the wiki doesn't work for me. I'm running XBMC for Ouya 12.3.2. Does it not work for this build? Edit: Never mind. I was using TextEdit on my Mac to create the file. Switched to TextWrangler. Should've known better. Edit: h/w accel on/dolby off RE: Amazon Fire TV for XBMC - crackd - 2014-04-10 (2014-04-10, 20:14)cstark27 Wrote:(2014-04-10, 19:32)crackd Wrote: For some reason, I'm not able to get Monsters to play okay on any of the 12.3.3 builds. SPMC settings have hardware acceleration enabled and audio set to 2.0. My Fire TV has Dolby Digital off, and resolution was "auto", which should be 1080p since my TV is that resolution. Just to make sure resolution was not my issue, I retested the Monsters video with resolution set to 720p 60Hz, and the same dropped frames occurred. RE: Amazon Fire TV for XBMC - fanofanne - 2014-04-10 This may or may not be useful. Thought I could help. All with default settings - no changes SPMC 12.3.3_2 plays the monsters clip fine. 12.3.3_3 does not. I am attaching the log snippets that i gathered 12.3.3_2 run http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=171014 12.3.3_3 run http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=171017 Thanks RE: Amazon Fire TV for XBMC - eracknaphobia - 2014-04-10 (2014-04-10, 20:18)jocala Wrote: I maintain my mysql video database using OS X froyo in the office and watch in the living room using openelec froyo. If your fire tv is on Gotham it will only create separate MyVideo, MyMusic, etc. tables in your database. So basically you'll have tables for Gotham and tables for Frodo. It won't "hose" anything but you won't be able to share watch status or use the resume feature between the two versions. Corrected my original post. These are the versions that Koying posted. RE: Amazon Fire TV for XBMC - thess - 2014-04-10 One thing I'm missing from my JB ATV2 is airplay. I see on the OUYA builds there is the option to enable it, but it never shows up as an AirPlay device on my network. I know this is probably super low-priority so I have a different question. I see there is an android app called AirReceiver that someone on XDA forums says works. But I can't figure out how the heck to get an APK for it to try to sideload it. I'm perfectly willing to buy it and figure out how to get the APK itself, but Google Play won't let me buy it because I don't have any registered Android devices. >.> TL;DR, what's the smart way to get APKs? Thanks for clarifying. Just to confirm we're on the same page, you're using Monster clip from http://www.auby.no/files/video_tests/ ? And if not directly from that source, can you try that one to make sure I'm not crazy RE: Amazon Fire TV for XBMC - cstark27 - 2014-04-10 (2014-04-10, 20:37)crackd Wrote: SPMC settings have hardware acceleration enabled and audio set to 2.0. What is your streaming method? I notice your videos have 0% buffer and AQ is really low. Not really sure (beyond the basic definition) what that means, but just what I noticed different between yours and mine. See if you can google the app and add apk after it. There are several websites hosting apk files for download. RE: Amazon Fire TV for XBMC - batcave - 2014-04-10 Need some help here ! Superrepo was working fine on xbmc for ouya 12.3.2 then I uninstalled and installed the SPMC 12.3.3 version and now super repo is empty I have tried everything from reinstalling the ouya or spmc version to factory reset the Fire TV but still the super repo will not populate. What to do? RE: Amazon Fire TV for XBMC - timmy! - 2014-04-10 Have you tried xunity or fusion? |
