I feel like i'm missing something,

I've installed the add on from the repo today, so it should be the newest version, It's enabled and configured to show 2 trailers, but no matter what skin i pick off of the build in integration list. None of them show me the "theater" or "cinematic" option.

Is there a switch i'm missing somewhere inside the addon? or inside the skin?

thanks for the help

Some Skins have toggle options in their settings(Transparency! does, and so does Night SVN) they can be found in Settings > Skin Settings

For instance Transparency!(non SVN) has an option under Skin Settings > Scripts for 'Home Theatre Experience" script(the former name for Cinema Experience) Once it is turned on and the script is selected a Theatre(it looks like a projector) button will show up in the Info screen of a movie(have a movie Highlighted then Press 'i' or 'Info' or open up the Context menu and select 'Info'.

Ah found it, thanks.

All i gotta do is figure out how to get the MPAA to work, my folder structure is like yours

Root > Rating > MPAA

I also have a BBFC folder in the ratings folder

So I point the script to MPAA
inside that folder is
G.AVI
NC-17.AVI
ect

Which all seems on par with how you have it said here
http://code.google.com/p/xbmc-addons/wiki/CinemaExperienceVideoFolders

but everytime I just seems to ignore and go to the audio video thing (dts thx ect)

Any idea what I'm doing wrong, I know I have it enabled and the folder properly selected and all the files are working.

Is there a log I can check as it does it's thing to see where the hold up is?

Thanks again for the help Smile

Ok I figured it out for myself, not sure where the bug is, but after you edit the config for Cinema it stops saving changes, so I had to reboot the XBMC. It happens a lot with changes that happen on other pages it could be a skin problem though and probably isn't related to cinema, It's a windows 7 and i'm thinking it could be a weird permission issue, but it fixed it's self.

Pre-Movie Trivia Slides - peebs - 2011-03-07

PBTrivia Volume 1
200 Questions
400 Slides
720p

Cross-post from AVS:

Good evening, fellow Home Theater enthusiasts!

This is my first volume of Pre-Movie trivia slides. There's a total of 200 questions, which amounts to 400 slides. I have also included the xml, photoshop template, necessary fonts, and the hex for the color I use for the answers. The template is based loosely on the Buzztime Trivia format, and is in 720p. It is very crisp, and scales nicely to 1080p.

I decided to go it alone with my trivia slides, because I wasn't terribly satisfied with some of the ones I'd found. Questions and answers didn't line up, there were no drop shadows, making questions/answers difficult to read, things were a bit kludgy-looking, etc... Really, it boils down to the fact that I'm just a picky bastard.

Hopefully, however, everyone else can benefit from my dementia... Smile

If anyone appreciates the work, they can always donate me a copy of Steven Good's Coca-Cola slides. Wink

Enjoy!

Thank you, sir! And as a side note, I want to you to know that I used your hosted files when I initially set up my "Cinema Experience" and it was invaluable. You are a great help to the community.

And to giftie, the Cinema Experience has made all the difference with my Home Theater setup. Last night, my wife and I sat down to homemade lasagna, a 5 minute round of my trivia slides, some great intros and trailers, and The Godfather. As often as we go to the theater, it's nice to have what I feel is a comparable setup at home.

- kevron - 2011-03-08

We don't go to the theater cause its God Awful expensive... This script makes me not miss the theater at all. I still get to see previews of movies coming out, and I get to Pause the movie when the kiddos have to go potty. Instead of missing most of the movie like I did with Toy Story 3 3d.
