IS there a different repository I should be looking at? Maybe the download is failing for some reason? The new version is 34mb so it'll take a bit longer than usual for PLTV to update/install. You could try downloading the zip file from: https://github.com/Lunatixz/XBMC_Addons/tree/master/zips/script.pseudotv.live The dependency might be Youtube-dl as that's what gets installed with 0.6.2b Re: RE: PseudoTV Live w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2015-06-06 (2015-06-05, 07:06)wondercoolguy Wrote:It sounds like your shows have improper runtimes, either hard coded or via kodi library.(2015-05-29, 05:17)wondercoolguy Wrote: noob question I've searched Changing channel resets.....as many ways as I can so I'm sorry if this has already been answered but I couldn't find it. I had the same issue. I finally found the issue was a bunch of .avi file that PseudoTV would incorreclty parse as being insanely long (like 100s of hours). Of course, when you changed to that channel, it would fail to seek the right time and have to start from the beginning of the next show. You can check every .m3u file in the /userdata/addon_data/script.pseudotv.live/chache/ folder. You'lll see one .m3u file for each of your channels. If you open the .m3u files in a text editor, you'll see a bunch of lines that start like this: #EXTINF:2750,Star Trek: The Next Generation// That 2750 number is length of the show. If it's stupid big (like over 100,000), then that's the file that's your problem. If you're using linux this command will find them all: grep -e 'INF:[0-9]\{6,\}' *.m3u The file I was having problems with were .avi's that were, well, let's just say I got them from some pretty shady places on the internet so I'm guessing the encoding was off. ffmpeg would calculate the length correctly, but PseudoTV didn't. I ended up just re-encoding them and then they worked fine and my channels all behave properly now. RE: PseudoTV Live w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - bornagainpenguin - 2015-06-06 Oh for... I've got to ask, even if the answer makes me feel like a class 'A' exhibit for moron: Has the option to hide videos smaller than xyz time always been measured in seconds? If so did the bit of text in that section recently change to explain this? I've always read it as being in minutes, so clearly was setting it to the lowest setting of fifteen (minutes or so I thought).... RE: PseudoTV Live w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - RockDawg - 2015-06-06 (2015-06-06, 16:37)snesmaster40 Wrote:(2015-06-06, 07:38)cecastil Wrote:(2015-06-06, 05:49)bfarley68 Wrote: Version 0.6.2a is showing as incompatible or has been marked broken in repository. IS there a different repository I should be looking at? I ave the same problem on my Windows machine, but not my Openelec machines. I did try downloading the the 0.6.2b zip and it won't install because it says dependencies not met but 0.6.2a is running fine on it. . I have all the dependencies listed in the first post of the main thread for PTVL and I also have an addon called youtube-dl COntrol 15.318.0. I assume that's the same thing as you are talking about? RE: PseudoTV Live w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - xian67 - 2015-06-06 Hello everyone. I'm new to Kodi and attempted to install pesudoTV. I keep getting playback errors when trying to watch channels from the US. How can I fix this? RE: PseudoTV Live w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - RockDawg - 2015-06-06 (2015-06-04, 02:25)Lunatixz Wrote: This is a great idea! When I tired it, it just made the video skip back whatever time the skip back is set to. It didn't go back to the beginning. Also, I would suggest at least an option to enable this for any video that is not at the beginning and not just ones 50% or further in. RE: PseudoTV Live w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Lunatixz - 2015-06-06 (2015-06-06, 20:15)RockDawg Wrote:(2015-06-04, 02:25)Lunatixz Wrote: The video does skip back to the beginning... At least it should... and I'm happy with it a 50%, since this is just a reminder. You can technically start over any show by simply clicking the skip back playlist button (if you have it mapped to a remote). Note that only channels and playlists currently work. I also fixed limits, locally I can parse over 200. Their maybe regional issues... YouTube is far from 100% after Google's api change. Hmm I must be doing something wrong. I have a few YouTube channels and only one of them is working. http://pastebin.com/GX0DSkVT (settings2.xml -- the YouTube playlists are at the bottom). The 'Challenge' channel works fine but the others won't show up. I'm guessing it's because I'm grabbing usernames explicitly with the Challenge channel, whereas with the others I'm getting them from different places. For playlists I'm grabbing the &list= part of a playlist and for channels I'm grabbing the ID which follows /channel/ on these pages. I'm guessing that's wrong..?
