And this Thanks Just a note on the PopUp submenus - if you have an info button on your remote, you can also access the popup menu by pressing info. I am new to this forum but have been around for a long time.. A little off topic but I have to ask... Your thought process and writing style remind me a lot of a guy I used to follow on the old WDTV forum. Were you ever involved with the showcase mod? Thanks! Nope, never even been on the WDTV forum before. I've added the date sort method in latest version (0.1.94). To get the same listing as Estuary choose: Widget: Active Recordings Sort Method: Date (it's at the very bottom of the options - not dateadded) Sort Direction: Descending RE: Arctic Horizon - Japangelo - 2020-04-10 What's "Peek widgets on home screen when scrolling"? How does this work with stuff like the showcase? Does it make widgets smaller? I haven't gotten a chance to play with it yet RE: Arctic Horizon - jurialmunkey - 2020-04-10 (2020-04-10, 06:10)drinfernoo Wrote:(2020-04-10, 05:48)jurialmunkey Wrote:(2020-04-10, 05:24)Japangelo Wrote: What's "Peek widgets on home screen when scrolling"? Everything behaves normally and the spacing is the same. The only difference is that if a main menu item has more that 2 widgets, the extra widgets "peek" over the borders of the screen as shown in the screenshot. And this It's not possible to make it a "long press" action, is it? My main device is a Shield, so I only have one "action" button. RE: Arctic Horizon - chrisvilla - 2020-04-10 Not sure this has been mentioned, couldn't find it if it has. I have a submenu setup with the submenu hub. The submenu has 6 items in it. When I look in the settings and via pressing the info button on the home page, all 6 items are there. However, when I open the submenu hub, the middle 2 are missing. Is there are limitation causing this or is this a bug? RE: Arctic Horizon - FXB78 - 2020-04-10 Some menus seem to have lost the ability to loop-back/wrap-around, for example on the Power menu I used to be able to press UP to move to the bottom of the list. The new Submenus on the Home Screen (press i) also don't have this functionality. I'm pretty sure it was working until very recently as I tend to use this quite a lot RE: Arctic Horizon - peat - 2020-04-10 Could there be something done with icon view so that also icon from other directories than the skin directory are accepted? Icons in submenus used as widget only shows from skin directory, and therefore will be deleted on skin update. And while using a nodes directory as widget they have no icons at all when using icon view. I really like those icon views for menu items, but without icons it looks not that nice as it could. One thing I have noticed is the title on the home page on the left upper corner does not sit very well there due the overlap.. seems not 'natural' RE: Arctic Horizon - jurialmunkey - 2020-04-10 (2020-04-10, 17:18)drinfernoo Wrote:Long press is not an action. It is a button modifier (like pressing shift or ctrl) which can be bound to an action (usually long press OK is bound to the contextmenu action). Users can bind whatever action to a button (you could even bind the up action to your down button if you like to hold the remote backwards)(2020-04-10, 03:03)jurialmunkey Wrote:(2020-04-09, 23:19)lightsout Wrote: Really loving this skin, I have taken some time to get it set up with the popup submenu's. And this The point is that the actions of buttons are defined in the user keymap. The skin doesn't map keys, it just defines what certain events triggered by actions do. Skins can only define onclick, onback, oninfo, onup, ondown, onleft, and onright events. |
