Just a quick note to say a huge thanks for this skin. nice and simple and displays exactly the why i want it to look.

I love the inclusion of alternative fanart; but can I ask if there is a way to choose what is displayed? (i.e. just the logo or just the character art etc). If not can you add it in as an option when you get a chance?

thanks once again!

another extremely grateful user who has been quite impressed with ccm-helix, thanks much

I thought about a setting to choose which art is displayed, but my problem is - I think we already have way too many settings and think some of the "not so popular" setting should really be removed.

Could probably do a setting for the logo's as they are called up separately anyway.

I know this answer is selfish but that would be perfect!

RE: CCM for Helix - yabel - 2015-03-04

Why was the Color option for text taken away?? was it causing issues in places?

RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-03-04

Do you miss it Big Grin It wasn't causing any major issues only a few little places that I probably could have fixed, but there's got to be a better way - there were a few posts I read that users had changed their colour to whatever and now none of the "blue" images matched.

Obviously the best way would be a new theme, where everything matches, but those require a lot of work and I'm useless with graphics. Another way would be a new colour file as I've suggested somewhere back down this thread - while it does not change the images, it can change all the font colours from one colour to another eg: all the Blue to LimeGreen.

What colour and where do you want to change, while I actually like the main menu focus at Blue, I know a lot of guys think White would be better. A setting to toggle that between Blue and White would be easy, but there are other places with Blue on the home screen what happens to those - do they all become White ?

RE: CCM for Helix - yabel - 2015-03-04

I didn't have a certain color I wanted but found the color pallet a nice feature to play against my background images. I liked the new text color across my menu bar

RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-03-04

Big Grin Well I guess if I can live with a toggle for "Original Confluence Popups" I can live with the font colours, unfortunately until the last update I'd only hidden it but now I'll have to re-do it - Not always a bad thing.

So now I can pick on another setting to bin - I presume some guys like the wrap around main menu, please shout if you do - I can't stand it. But the setting I'm thinking of is "the return to start" one. Does anyone disable it so that the menu comes to a stop at the end ? or can we bin it ?

Actually talking about wrap a round menu's - instead of the setting for "FanArt View" in movies to wrap or not wrap - How about just having it wrap around as per some request a while back. I've been using it like that lately and it's not bad. Plus it would delete a fair bit of code.

RE: CCM for Helix - IIIPgCIII - 2015-03-04

I am sure it has been answered here before, but here it goes.

I've added the "Family" section to my CCM Home. How do I exclude these from my regular "Movies" section?

The movies I want to exclude are all a separate source than my regular movies, if that makes it any easier.
I just don't want Thomas The Tank to be in my Movies section. Thanks

RE: CCM for Helix - SirLoinOfBeef - 2015-03-04

Selecting "Random Fanart" as the background for "Movies" or similar home screen option does not seem to work for me. I can't find anything about this in the thread. Is it just me, or is this a feature still being worked on?

RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-03-04

No problems as far as I know. Are your "movies" added to the library as suggested by Kodi guidelines and do individual backgrounds show up when browsing your list of movies?

Make another playlist that points to your main movies source. Then use that instead of Movies.
