Thanks - giftie - 2011-03-20 Quickstrike Wrote:For some reason, the new version is inserting blank/black slides at random when I play trivia. The script does not generate any sildes. The only way a black screen would show up is if there is a problem with a file. Your xbmc.log file(run XBMC in Debug mode) would go a long way in sorting out the problem. - justermin - 2011-03-20 Here ya go Debug log. http://pastebin.com/HQwG6H2V Sorry it aint a proper link but forum seems to be running very slow tonight and the "insert link" button doesnt seem to wanna work. Seems to have worked now - giftie - 2011-03-20 revned Wrote:Hi Giftie, To revert, check to see if you have a Packages folder in your addons folder. There should be an old copy of Cinema Experience in there.. But before, could you post a copy of your xbmc.log file(to pastebin) Thanks.. - Invincer - 2011-03-20 Just want to say thanks to Giftie; and let it be known I got the script working without having to hit the tab key for the main movie. We tried and tried and never could get it to work, and I appreciate the effort giftie... After upgrading to the newest tvn transparency skin and the newest nightly build of xbmc, the problem went away. Don't know why, but hey, it works... I also uploaded the start up video on my own home theater set-up here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9Z2F1R4V. I have it set to play as the "trivia intro" video prior to (of course) the trivia. If anyone wants to check it out or try it, you are welcome to (it is a mashup some will recognize of other custom site's video intros). I should also warn anyone trying it that all my videos have about a 6 second delay simply because from video to video my TV refreshes the resolution and the screen is blank for those 6 seconds. The video goes through camera lights flashing, a red carpet trip up to a curtain which opens, and in Star Wars fashion, the audience is made aware of the cinema experience they are about to .... well.... experience. Then it closes exclaiming it is now time for movie trivia, and away it goes. - giftie - 2011-03-20 justermin Wrote:Here ya go Debug log. I know that there is something going on with your Trivia Intro. Not sure what's wrong with the videos, but if you disable the video(set it to none) you should be able to have the script function.. - misterhek - 2011-03-20 Not sure what happened, but CE won't play my trailers anymore. Here is what the log says: Code: 20:15:54 T:10336 M:770043904 NOTICE: [script.cinema.experience] - Retriving Trailers: 5 Trailers This is my trailers folder These are my settings Any ideas? It was working fine until a couple weeks ago. - revned - 2011-03-20 giftie Wrote:To revert, check to see if you have a Packages folder in your addons folder. Hey Gifite, I changed my skin from Night to AEON and all the errors are gone. - Pino72 - 2011-03-20 Hi, great script so far, but with 038 autorefresh stopped working....it turns it off but does not turn it on again! Always worked till now.....hmmmm. Anybody else got this problem with .038? Any way to get back to 037 - justermin - 2011-03-20 giftie Wrote:I know that there is something going on with your Trivia Intro. I love this addon...just need a bigger room now for the cinema experience... Thanks Giftie... you the man! - giftie - 2011-03-20 Pino72 Wrote:Hi, great script so far, but with 038 autorefresh stopped working....it turns it off but does not turn it on again! I think it has something to do with an error that pops up at the end of the videos which is fixed for the next release, but I would like to be sure... - Pino72 - 2011-03-20 Here is the Log, I hope it helps. I too get the script error at the end: http://www.inno-stangl.de/xbmc.log - foghat - 2011-03-20 I am having problems too with the latest version. Basically it look like any options set on the Movie Trailers tab are being ignored. Here is a screen of the Movie Trailers tab: Nothing plays except the main movie. However, if I add the outro folder to the Special Videos tab, the the outro will work I am also seeing odd saving behavior. Changes made do not seem to stick. The appear to save at first, but ultimately do not. For example, if I remove the Coming Attractions Outro (set to none) and click okay and then immediately go back into configure options, I see that Coming Attractions Outro is still set to none. However, as soon as I go and play a movie using cinema experience and then go back into the plugin options, I see Coming Attractions Outro is set to what it used to be (as per screen shot above). To add to the weirdness, I was able to add the Feature Presentation Intro on the Special Videos tab and it did stick. However, when I try set it back to none, I see the same behavior noted above - the change won't stick. Here is a copy of my log file (was too big for pastebin non-pro account) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3007540/xbmc.log - revned - 2011-03-20 foghat Wrote:I am having problems too with the latest version. Same problem here, the script starts but skips the trailers. - Pino72 - 2011-03-20 giftie Wrote:If you can post a copy of your xbmc.log it would help me narrow down the problem.. I think it has something to do with an error that pops up at the end of the videos which is fixed for the next release, but I would like to be sure... My problem is that the movie starts without the resolution change activated...so the script seems to fail in avtivating the res. change at the start of the movie, it does disable the res. change at the beginning of the script for trailers and all intros etc. After that of course it is also deactivated in system prefs /video..... |
