RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-03-05
Just tested this one again and yep there is a bug there.
For me enabling "Background video in PVR" works and I get LiveTV as a background while I'm in the LiveTV window.
Toggling the "Enable Background Playing Media" gets the video playing to show up behind everything.
But playing Music does result in a black background on the home screen, which I'll look at.

I disabled the animation in start. But i still have an extra kodi image, when launching Kodi.
I have the kodi symbol, then another kodi symbol, smaller and after that i have the main menu.
How do i get rid of the second image? Like normal confluence?

I think what you're seeing is Kodi adjusting to your TV screen. I see it too and am just assuming that it's normal.

You can remove or change that image in Skin Settings - Background - Background path: Startup.

Oh good here I was thinking it was one of the few PVR issues I am trying to sort out. I myself would consider myself lucky and happier if only I had the black screen, as mine is showing an obtrusive 4:3 blue screen with black bars at the side.
Edit for my screw ups. yeah.

Worst case scenario - SSH in and delete guisettings.xml in kodi/userdata directory - will delete all skin settings and revert back to default Confluence on restating Kodi.

Firstly let me say I am loving this skin, finally able to get my kodi looking the way I like it
the slight niggle I have is every time I start kodi I get the following script error:-Watch History Module and Service error
I have looked everywhere and cannot find out why I get this, does anyone else have this problem that can help please, running kodi on a windows 7 pc, thanks in advance.....

It's not.
If you use normal Confluence you dont see it.

When you guys say you're getting an error - What is it? All I get is the "Warning" below, which is not a problem and being looked at.
Code:RunScript called for a non-script addon 'script.grab.fanart'. This behaviour is deprecated.
If you getting something else, let us know. Also try toggle the setting on and off and change the refresh rate in the skin settings.
Yes it's an error. I will tell you later exactly what the error says. For now i deleted the plugin folder, and no error occurs.

Might be worth a look into as it may be that nothing needs doing in the long term.
TERRIFIC skin btw, I have had a recent skin indulgence trying all the options for Helix, and I feel this is the one.
I particularly like the "next episode" inclusion in the list window.
