MQ5 would show Weather Artwork based on actual conditions. I can't find the same setting for MQ6. All I see is to set it for northern or Southern Hemisphere.

@TonyPh12345, You need extrapack version 6 installed, and go to settings, submenu customize main menu, go to weather, center panel have option for change hemisphere, 3 enter there for weather background based on actual conditions.

Is-it possible for widget to use playlist not in main menu ?
On my side i want to have the new movie for example. (My movie are in a playlist to separate the kids movies to the other movies)

Absolutely perfect! I created nodes for my documentaries/kids/stand-up and noticed you couldn't create a widget based off nodes

Ok, now I noticed using custom nodes you no longer receive the library item count on the homescreen like you would if using default movies menu or playlists. Is there code that I can change so that it will show this on custom nodes?

See my post right below yours. Create a menu item with your playlist, but make it hidden. Then you can choose that playlist as a widget and not see it on your menu!

Can anyone explain to me in simple terms how to have a seperate "Kids" menu on home screen with only the kids movies filtered out of my movie libary.
I know how to change the menu on the home screen, but I've created a smart play list as in the image below. But no kids movies are get filtered out ( there's nothing showing up in the playlist ).
I'm using the Universal movie scraper set to the UK but still no luck.
Here's what I've set up in the playlist filter.

MQ6 still has the MQ5 bug where you cannot login to NAS devices from the Edit Source panel because the other panel stays in front of the credentials panel. Have to switch to confluence when I have to enter credentials.

Try creating your playlist with one rule, "genre is family." Test that and see. I'm very picky about my movies and scrape all info outside of kodi, so all my kids/family movies have genre as family.
*EDIT* You don't have your order by, that may be the reason why it won't work. Set it to sort title / ascending or date added / descending

I have my media in folders.
One is called XBMC Kids. all kids movies are in there. I have folders for other types too. Documentaries. Stand Up. Foreign.
My kids smart playlist uses "path starts with" and I have M:\XBMC Kids\ as the value.
That way I dont rely on genre or anything else that could be mislabeled.
I then have menu items for each of these video playlists.
Widget works now, thanks MQ. Had to move right a few times to see widget options for each smart playlist.

Open the file startup.xml in the 720p folder. Add the line below under the <window> tag
<onload>PlayMedia(put path of video file here)</onload>
eg. <onload>PlayMedia(/home/osmc/KodiBootAnimation.mp4)</onload>
Restart kodi
