RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - DarrenHill - 2016-08-08 One quick question - is there any way to get icons from the iPlayer www add-on? The TV catch-up one is giving them fine, but the iPlayer one doesn't. Thought I'd ask here given your involvement in both. There are a lot of options for logos now. * Add the iplayer:Watch Live folder in the Stream Setup dialog with Browse\Add Folder. * Enable the Setting: Logos\Use Addon Folder Logos * Remove Stream * Choose Stream and it should use the iplayer logo if it exists. There is also a Lab tab at the end of the Settings to download all the Logos from the Add Folder command. They end up in the userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\logos folder. You can then pick your favourites for an offline Logo Folder or point the Settings\Logos\External Logo Source\Logos Folder at it. It might need a Database Reset to find all the logos. The logo logic got pretty complicated but I just had to catch em all. RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - DarrenHill - 2016-08-08 I already have that setting enabled, and I'm getting logos from the TV catch-up and radio add-ons, but not from iPlayer WWW. In all of those I just get the default text name. Doing the download works, they are all there, but even with the folder directory set is not using them. RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - DarrenHill - 2016-08-08 No the "Radio" add-on ( this one). Both that and blxd's TV catch-up add-on are giving icons to their streams, but iPlayer www isn't. I've only got TV channels from iPlayer www, and they are all icon-less. If you have downloaded anything from our github repos it might have the version number at the end. The images need the addon to be in the right place. Could you copy the bbc_one_hd entry entry from userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\icons.ini so that I can see where it thinks the images are. eg Code: plugin://plugin.video.iplayerwww/?url=bbc_one_hd&mode=203&name=BBC+One&iconimage=C%3A%5CKodi16.1%5Cportable_data%5Caddons%5Cplugin.video.iplayerwww%5Cmedia%5Cbbc_one.png&description=&subtitles_url=&logged_in=False|image://C%3a%5cKodi16.1%5cportable_data%5caddons%5cplugin.video.iplayerwww%5cmedia%5cbbc_one.png/ RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - DarrenHill - 2016-08-09 I seem to have two - plugin.video.iplayerwww and plugin.video.iplayerwww-2.3.4p2 . I'll have a look tonight and see about sorting that out and testing if it resolves the issue or not. Icons.ini just contains: Code: # WARNING Make a copy of this file. Looks like it's using the non version numbered iPlayer WWW? I'll have a look tonight and see about sorting that out and testing if it resolves the issue or not. The 2 iplayer entries there don't have image files. The image is after the last | and is url encoded. I use Notepad++ to decode it but that is just one way. s4c says image:///storage/.kodi/addons/plugin.video.iplayerwww/media/s4c.png It is missing in the version in the Kodi repo. I added it to my fork a long time ago but it still hasn't made it to the main repo. The BBC WM 95 just has the default icon image://DefaultFolder.png/ None of the Radio channels have icons. The only iplayer icons are in addons\plugin.video.iplayerwww\media I have noticed that I have made an error in my repo with the iplayer zip file. I should have removed the version number from the inner folder. That could cause problems. I'll fix that now. RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - DarrenHill - 2016-08-09 I have your repo installed, and I think the current version is from there (there was an iPlayer WWW update when I installed the repo). I'm just looking for icons for the TV channels - I'm not pulling radio from iPlayer WWW as those are all coming from the Radio add-on (just to centralise everything as I'm pulling some commercial stations into the EPG too). Will test tonight with your repo-adjusted version and will let you know. It's not a major issue overall, it just looks a bit odd to have some channels with icons and some with text in the EPG. I'm in the process of adding the bbc radio icons from the plugin.audio.radio_de to iplayerwww. What I did was Add Folder in TV Guide Fullscreen from the uk folder of plugin.audio.radio_de. Then Export Logos from Settings\Lab. The Logos end up in userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\logos If you add that folder as the Logo Source in TV Guide Fullscreen the fuzzy matching should pick up the logos. Another great resource I have been using is the TVLogo Downloader addon. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=233068 RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - DarrenHill - 2016-08-09 I've done similar with the "My Stations" folder from Radio (which incorporates radio_de) where I have my radio stations stored (a mix of BBC and commercial ones), and the EPG is pulling the icons fine for them all. It's just the icons from the BBC TV channels pulled from iPlayer WWW that are missing at the moment, hence why the EPG looks odd. Basically I've done add folder for iPlayer WWW, Radio, ITV and TV Catch-up add-ons (all set up in the EPG and working fine, although ITV is broken for streaming), and then the export logo from the lab tab on that. The icons are all pulled successfully (even the BBC ones), but the ones for channels sourced from iPlayer WWW don't show up in the EPG for some reason. Could you check it works. RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - DarrenHill - 2016-08-09 I'll give it a try this evening and let you know. |
