Hi Latts

Im trying to have some snow falling over the video playback fullscreen. having light snow falling during the video be nice. Ive been checking threads seems need to make a custom window overlay to display images over video. If i could map a button to turn the snow on/off in video be great.

Appreciate any info thanks

I've been able to get the medium snow to work on the Fullscreen Info page...

still no luck on showing while a fullscreen video is playing.

I've done some tweaking to the medium snow effect. Mmatty1 (thanks again) did some work on it to try and make it more consistent on the screen, as the original image would reset itself every 2 minutes or so and the screen would be devoid of snowflakes for a bit. I've done some work to it as well. I created a new image (posted below) that will display contant medium snow for over 5 minutes before it resets. If you would like to use this version, save the image to the snow directory in media, and alter your medium snow code in includes.xml to the code below.

I've seen that behavior before from my FireTV Stick. It was doing that to me last Christmas...let me see if I can reproduce it.

Any news about it?

Edit: changing code for medium snow as for above mentioned post (using fallingsnow4.png image) now I solved my problem too. No vertical lines on some snowflakes appear.
I noticed, anyway, the resolution of medium snow image is now lower than before and than high snow image too. With high snow mode selected, furthermore, I still have vertical line problem

Any help?

I just tried it on my FireTV Stick and reproduced the problem. I think it's just using up all the Stick's resources. I've never seen this on my FireTV.

As I wrote in the post #94 I solved the problem with medium snow after cod modification using fallingsnow4.png file. Please read that post for my further comments

I'm having an issue with certain text not showing up. This happened after either installing the holiday mod or star wars mod. I've switched between English US and English but it doesn't change the issue. The text in question is for instance when viewing the system info under settings main menu, it is displaying the results but not the subject. Like it shows "1920X1080 PXL (40 HZ) but Resolution is blank in front of it. It's doing this under the weather main screen also for certain text. Not sure if this is related but when watching a movie or show, if I press a button to get the menu bar to pop up so I can pause the movie, what ever button is highlighted is blank. If I go left or right on the menu which ever button gets highlighted disappears. Its' very weird. Any help on this would be grateful. I would post some pictures but it's not allowing me to do so.

I'm not sure what would be causing that. I have the Holiday Mod and Star Wars Mod installed, but I can't reproduce the problems you've mentioned. Have you installed any other mods recently?

This is a screen shot of the info screen and weather where the text is missing on the left side. Also a screen shot of watching a movie where the middle button is missing that is selected. I haven't installed anything since the Mod except maybe an add on here or there.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try that. One more question. This is on my laptop. I exported the skin settings. I installed SPMC then MQ7 on my Nvidia Shield. I restored skin settings from said export and it seems to be the exact setup except the mods aren't there (starwars and holidays). No idea why? Huh

You will still have to install all the mods you want to use after installing MQ 7 on a new device. Restoring skin settings won't install any of the mods.

Hi all,

I installed the Aeon MQ7 Modded for Jarvis & everything was looking & working beautifully following the install instructions.

Next I installed the Holiday Mod as per install instructions on page 1 & now have 2 problems.

My info & detail info button has disappeared, see image:

Also, I copied the flags-->stars-->capotain, pumpkin & santahat folders to media folder, where the holidays folder is,
but I'm unable to choose them from the Stars menu-->Style for the Stars menu. I recycle through the options but the 3 are not there.
See pic below for what I'm talking about:

Any help how to solve these 2 issues is appreciated.
