Thanks, i 'pushed a change' today to apply custom home items and apply thumb and fanart.

but be aware
if you test that out, you may loose the attached artwork if you use the default path in a later/final stage of the skin version.
(use resource addon part for that case is undone)

also the menu layout itself 'is early wip' and not in a form how i want them, but currently the easiest (for me ) testing purpose.

How can you supply those custom home items?

yes, in 2 ways !!!
1. the usual way without addon dependencie
- change theme within interface settings (the window where you choose fonts, skin...)
- if you dont like to use script.skin.helper.colorpicker

optional for customization
2. skinsettings -> ' custom colors 'section

where you be able to override some/all skin used colors with the help of script.skin.helper.colorpicker

you can also save/load/delete your custom themes from there with the help of
script.skin.helper.skinbackup

- There is a small light grey line around the posters etc which makes them not Modern enough.. can this be turned off?

- option for smaller landscape views

- 'Netflix view' option for automatic trailer play in homescreen

You need to adjust that manual.
Using Color Mangement.
- set it up for widget and library
-> Color For Unfocused Items/Widgets , Color For Focused Items/Widgets

I dislike to set them to none in generell, cause its a bit special.
based on current theme + choosen tag panel color the 'skin' choose the correct diffuse image for the rounded theme.

I had that option in mind but unsure how / if it'll find a way in.
The issue i see i s widget refresh each time a playback will start, which will cause bad bahaviour ,espeacially for random ordered widgets (it'll make no sense if you watch a trailer and cant click to start playback because the items is 'lost' in position due to refresh).
