RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-03-08 (2015-03-08, 03:54)InvisibleMonkey Wrote: Spent all day tinkering with my new rPi2, updated to Helix and decided to install this skin. I love how customisable it is, great job! What sort of playlist? Movies or Episodes? I've noticed scriptrandomandlast items, sometimes gets an error on TVShow Episodes type playlists. and lately even more so if they're set to "random" Couple of things to check, do you get an error with one of the "PreSet" type playlists eg: Family, also set the script to "Recent" by SkinSettings-->ScriptOptions-->Configure script.randomandlastitems. Press "No" on the popup asking to randomize. I actually need to do some work on this and start using the "newer" way of using dynamic content as interest in this script has fallen, that would also give you "widgets" on your video nodes. Unfortunately it's a lot of work and probably better to initially set it up on simpler MOD, get it working, and then import it into CCM. Turn it on in "Skin Settings" Actually I have problems with Artist SlideShow over some artists and think it's better to have extrafanart directories. eg: for me it has a habit of showing the last song's artist if there's no fanart for the current artist instead of nothing. Is there a setting that can change this back? No problems for me, maybe your update went screwy? - Anyone else with a missing progress bar or clock? CCM for Helix - smurff33 - 2015-03-08 No missin clock or bar but seem to be missin the movie/tv show plot wen paused, cant find how to put it bak on since the update? RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-03-08 SkinSettings-->GeneralSettings Under heading "Video OSD Settings" toggle "Enable Video OSD Plot on Pause" - Works for me, just make sure your video actually has a plot RE: CCM for Helix - Helly1206 - 2015-03-08 Hi Mudislander, Great skin. I already mentioned this before, but probably it slipped through all the comments. I am using a remote, so I don't like close buttons on the top right of a window. Sometimes the videoOSD however does give a close button. This button d=can be removed by changing line 28 of VideoOSD.xml from: <visible>![Window.IsVisible(SliderDialog) | Window.IsVisible(OSDVideoSettings) | Window.IsVisible(OSDAudioSettings) | Window.IsVisible(VideoBookmarks)]</visible> to: <visible>![Window.IsVisible(SliderDialog) | Window.IsVisible(OSDVideoSettings) | Window.IsVisible(OSDAudioSettings) | Window.IsVisible(VideoBookmarks)]+system.getbool(input.enablemouse)</visible> Now every time after an update I change this line manually. I would really appriciate if you include this change in your next update. Thanks. RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-03-08 Haven't removed it yet on purpose, as for some users it's the only way to exit fullscreen playback while still playing - On previous CCM there was a "Home" button on the OSD Menu which hasn't been added yet RE: CCM for Helix - InvisibleMonkey - 2015-03-08 (2015-03-08, 09:57)Mudislander Wrote:(2015-03-08, 03:54)InvisibleMonkey Wrote: Spent all day tinkering with my new rPi2, updated to Helix and decided to install this skin. I love how customisable it is, great job! It's a completely custom category I made for my documentaries, I've tried making a parent-node for all documentaries, with sub-nodes for documentary TV and documentary movies (or they won't scrape correctly) which works but doesn't give me the option of having recently added items. I've also tried making separate TV and movie playlists for both categories, but then it's impossible to combine them for a parent category. The last method lead me to just trying the two playlists and have the main menu item point towards documentary movies, I chose the video playlist widget but no dice. 'recent movies' just loads all the recent movies, not just the ones in the playlist. I would love to just switch to video-nodes with widgets so if you make any progress at all, I'll test the crap out of it! I really appreciate all this work you're doing so if I can do anyhing in return, like make you graphics or something, just let me know! RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-03-08 Yeh script.randomandlastitems would probably throw a complete wobbly at that one. BTW the widget for script.randomandlastitems is "Playlist" and only shows up if is a playlist, the other widgets run on the "complete" library. I am trying to get "Hybrid" up and running, but CCM is being a total hog on my time Only redeeming fact is things get tested in more detail by CCM users. It would be a non brainer to switch totally to CCM except I way prefer the layout of the media lists and fullscreen playback in Hybrid. Getting back to the point - I'll see what I can do, might have to be an on the side test version though. RE: CCM for Helix - bongdvm - 2015-03-08 I was wondering if it's possible to remove the word "Unavailable" that shows for items in my library with no plot information entered? I prefer to just have it blank for those items. I tried searching within all the files in the skin folder for "Unavailable" thinking I could just edit it out but the only hits I found seemed to deal with fanart similar to this: Line 1749: msgid "Fanart image[CR][CR]Unavailable[CR][CR] Click button to set" This is just my personal preference so if it's not possible to do, no problem. Thanks! RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-03-08 It's probably $LOCALIZE[161] From Kodi's language strings. Without checking it'll definitely be in the file "IncludesVariables.xml" but may also be in the various "Views?.xml" files RE: CCM for Helix - tfouto - 2015-03-08 On the exit menu, the color of the selected item is black. Can't i just make it blue like the normal Confluence? I cant find a way to change this. Thanks RE: CCM for Helix - bongdvm - 2015-03-09 (2015-03-08, 22:17)Mudislander Wrote: It's probably $LOCALIZE[161] From Kodi's language strings. I found the following two lines in IncludesVariables.xml: Line 596: <value>$LOCALIZE[161]</value> Line 602: <value>$LOCALIZE[161]</value> I deleted those lines and now the plot is blank for any items in my library that do not have a plot entered which is exactly what I wanted. Is that the correct way to achieve it though? Will deleting those two lines cause any issues for me? RE: CCM for Helix - mikeayla - 2015-03-09 Hello Mudislander. I´ve just a problem to create a working submenu in music with a playlist. Everything seems first ok, but if I chose the submenu with the playlist it starts playing with the first item in the playlist and I cannot see any other items. Did I something special wrong or do I have to uncheck in something in the settings? The playlists works fine for Videos.
