TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - ed_davidson - 2016-12-28 (2016-12-28, 20:57)primaeval Wrote:(2016-12-28, 20:34)ed_davidson Wrote:(2016-12-28, 19:59)primaeval Wrote: Back should take you back to the guide with the default settings as long as the addon you are using doesn't force you into Kodi Fullscreen mode. Even then it should get you back to the guide. Sorry @primeval I think I've totally got it wrong. I think what I've got going on is once a stream starts I can't stop it without exiting the guide. The streams all start in full screen. I can get back to the guide but there is no simple way of stopping a stream because I can't bring up the OSD in LE. Have you got a remote without a Stop button? TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - ed_davidson - 2016-12-28 Yes. I normally press okay to bring up OSD then hit quit from there. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - FXB78 - 2016-12-28 @ed_davidson - If you press RIGHT then OK/Enter it will bring up the Kodi OSD. RIGHT will take it out of the TV Guide OSD & into Kodi Default where you can use it as you would your local content. Alternatively, you could just disable OSD in the TV Guide settings & it will default to the Kodi OSD, in this mode you can click TAB/Fullscreen to toggle back to the EPG. Another thing you could do is use Settings \ Lab1 \ Action Editor to map up Stop to a button you do have. If it's a FireTV maybe you have a Forward button that you could map to ACTION_PLAYER_FORWARD. TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - ed_davidson - 2016-12-28 I do t think it's ever worked for me. That's just the way it is. TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - ed_davidson - 2016-12-28 It should be the same for you using a default setup on Windows. Pressing enter does not bring up the OSD. This is how it's designed to work. TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - ed_davidson - 2016-12-28 Sorry @FXB78 I missed that post. TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - ed_davidson - 2016-12-28 Disabling OSD works perfect for my application. Thanks. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - primaeval - 2016-12-29 version 0.0.272 - Settings \ Appearance \ Channel Shortcut Numbers = None|Index|Id (id is a nummeric id from your xmltv file) - New Action "GO_TO_FIRST_CHANNEL": ["ACTION_LAST_PAGE"] which is END in Windows - click anywhere in Stream Setup background to Close the dialog - Refresh Addon Folders fix for missing addons - Add Folder fix for Alternative Streaming Method @gillmacca This should let you setup your xmltv to the same as your settop box. Match the xmltv ids to the channel number shortcuts and you can send me half the money you're not giving to Murdoch. He's got enough hounds to release already. @gillmacca You can press END to get to the first channel now (or map up some other button). @htpcmac This should ignore Addon Folders where the addon has been removed. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - TheGame1986 - 2016-12-29 @primaeval just so I'm certain, the new channel ID's will read the xmltv_id as the number, yes? So instead of naming it as xmltv_id="BBC One London" I can name it as xmltv_id="001" and it'll use that? Do a couple of test channels first to make sure it's working as you expect before you manually change 100s of channels. If I may make a suggestion, though, I'd remove the number digits taking the user to On Now. etc and have it automatically be used for searching the EPG for the channel number/id. The only reason I say this is because this will be what most users are used too because of conventional TV Guide set-ups. We can still access those lists in the context menu, anyway. |
