RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-02-19 You can disable the 'Manage Media' function to stop ViMM from moving files around, and if you leave the 'rename episode pattern' text field empty, it will move episodes to season folders, but leave their filenames alone. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - mybrain87 - 2013-02-19 (2013-02-19, 13:22)MariusTh86 Wrote: You can disable the 'Manage Media' function to stop ViMM from moving files around, and if you leave the 'rename episode pattern' text field empty, it will move episodes to season folders, but leave their filenames alone. Yeah but it will still scan Episodes and create nfo files. I don't want that. I don't want it to do anything with the episodes. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-02-19 Alright, adding an option "Don't do anything with episode files", it should be available in the latest nightly build: http://www.mediafire.com/vimediamanager RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - mybrain87 - 2013-02-19 (2013-02-19, 13:53)MariusTh86 Wrote: Alright, adding an option "Don't do anything with episode files", it should be available in the latest nightly build: OMG you are great. I never expected this...thank you very much. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-02-19 I live to please. ![]() As long as it serves a useful function and if I can build it. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - theowiesengrund - 2013-02-19 Thank you for your awesome tool. It was very helpful for my movies, but it seems to have problems with the TV Shows. When i try to fetch metadata for my tv shows i'm getting in approx. 50% of the cases the following error message: http://imgur.com/lQhsDZr In this case it was the tv show "Community" but the error happens for several other shows too - always at the same moment of the fetching process. Do you have any idea what's wrong? On another note: The "Clean All" function did not work as expected. The nfo and jpeg Files in the subfolders ("Season 01" for example) were'nt deleted. I'm using the Version 0.7alpha2 RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-02-19 [strike]Unfortunately I can't seem to make this error happen to me, but I have seen other cases, it's a little hard to test.[/strike] I suspect it only happens on shows which have local episode files? It's function is working "Correctly", that is, when I originally made the clean function, it was to clean movie folders which didn't have multiple layers of subfolders, but i'll be changing that as soon as I can. Edit: Alright, I found at least one error that will pop-up pretty often (Every tv show that has dvd releases), so if that one is the code breaker, consider it fixed, and i'll release another bug fix release as soon as possible. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - theowiesengrund - 2013-02-19 Thanks for your quick answer! Actually, no it has nothing to do with local episodes. I was able to fetch tv shows with local episodes in the folders. There seems no "system" behind it. The fetching procedure processes the episode guide and then the error pops up, right before the episode nfos and jpegs are created (i suppose). RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-02-19 Try this build: http://www.mediafire.com/?17vhubles4kd10j RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - theowiesengrund - 2013-02-19 You are amazing! Already fixed the problem. Everything working fine now. Donation is on the way. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - einszweidrei - 2013-02-19 Update notification just kicked in. Awesome fixing those errors in only a few days. Hope to get more notifications like this ![]() RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-02-20 I'd rather hope for having no errors that need fixing. ![]() But when there are, I can't very well just leave 'em be! RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - yannickrose - 2013-02-22 Marius, Is it possible to have Vimm to scan all the library just to update genres ? Thank's RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-02-22 like, reload the list? yes, fetch metadata-genre only? not so much, no, ratings go though. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - yannickrose - 2013-02-22 The thing is when i look at the genre page in YAMJ i got some comedy movies tagged in english, and some tagged in french (comedie) I want to refresh all my movies in english or french, i don't mind as long they are tagged correctly. The plots, the ratings, and the posters etc are fine, i don't want to to change anything! |
