@kees667, try to build the music library database and use the music library instead of the file mode http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Music_library
To change the repeat behaviour tap the thumbnail in the now playing view and you'll see two buttons for setting both repeat and random music mode.

Thanks for fixing it. As you correctly say, it is only partially fixed as the thumbnails don't show up yet. One example is the movie "Æon Flux (2005)". Not sure whether ill-formed Unicode is the right word? Can it be fixed without me renaming the movie?
As many mentioned, the remote keys are now broken in the latest update.
One feature request - it appears that I cannot sort the movie list by year, but only by genre? Also, any chance to implement some form of caching. It takes quite a while for the movies to show up when pressing movie library (I have 3,000+ movies).
Any thoughts on above?

Amazing app, Thank you for the hard work.
I like how we can browse video content without visually disturb what's currently play on tv.
Some feature requests:
1. While in youtube addons is it possible to add "related video" while selecting a video content not just "play", " queue", "queue after current". This "related video" menu appears in the context menu in remote control mode but then I have to go to remote control mode. Then this will visually disturb what is playing on tv.
2. While digging deep in an addon structure while browsing for content and I have to change to remote control mode, I have to re-dig the addon to find where I was. Is it possible to make the app remember?
Possible bug:
1. In icefilms addons a pop up window keep appearing on the screen "open stream..." while in fact the stream is already playing. I have to use remote control mode to remove this window. This window does not appear if I use remote control mode to play the content in the first place.
I use this app in ios 6 ipad 2, and xbmc frodo in win 7. XBMC and this app bring my old dell with broken monitor back to life.
Control XBMC with Iphone - oeglen - 2013-03-17
Something wird is happening. I connect with XBMC with my iphone. But it is not possible to control music or to see what is playing. I have made all the setting..i think. Usally i just dont connect, but this time it do connect but I cant control anything.
Please..getting desparat.

Thanks again. Never found that repeat option so that is solved. Playing a file folder still doesnt work though. Library doesnt work for me since it mingles all my albums ine one long list and I've seperated artist albums from compilations and my kids stuff.

Hi all, I have recently updated to Frodo on 4 XBMC devices (2 Windows boxes, an Apple TV2 and a Xios DS box running the LInux port all syncing to a central MySQL instance on one of the Windows servers) and all went very smoothly. I removed all my path substitutions and it appears that all my thumbs got copied over properly and they show up correctly on the devices.
I have one small issue, when I try and use XBMC Remote on my iOS devices the thumbnails only show up for the Windows servers. On my Xios DS and Apple TV2 no movie thumbs show up and only a couple of the banners and thumbs for the TV shows show up.
Has anyone else seen a similar issue?

I would like to say thanks for this great app.
I came across something that I find to be a real issue in my most usual video usage of XBMC (Video Concerts), and as I didn't find this thread before, I opened this one:

In short, it's currently close to impossible to navigate on DVD menus with the app (both on iPhone and iPad).
It would be great if this could be solved.

@steve1977, at the moment only renaming the video can fix completely the things. What I have done is to be less restrictive but the issue is on XBMC side. For the genres section vs years section: I've the "VideoLibrary.GetGenres" API call but don't have "VideoLibrary.GetYears".
Library caching isn't a short term goal. Can you quantify your takes quite a while? and in what device? And your XBMC server specs.?

@oeglen, seems you have network issues.
@kees667, try to activate the system option "Show all files in filemode", restart the app and check if something has changed.
@chewie, check the thumbnail of the affected movies in the XBMC GUI.
@lordofthediscs, yes it's a bug. I've forgotten about DVD menu. Will try to fix, thank you for reporting.

Thankyou for fixing the arrow buttons on the remote control for skipping 10min/marker and 30 seconds.
I noticed though unlike previous version that it is a little sensative and it is doing double clicks when you press only once on episode browsing.

tv shows > example show > episodes
when you clicking down arrow through the episodes, you press down arrow double speed to CPR. It will double click as if you holding it down.
It switches too fast to auto going down the list, just like when you hold down the arrow key.
