Hi,
I'm running cinemavision on the Shield and I'm trying to save my sequence, but when I click save, it asks for a file name, then says failed to write sequence file! Kodi may be unable to write to this location. How do I save my sequence? I tried choosing export, which did export it, but I guess that's not the same thing because it still won't run with my movies. I'm thinking this is why I can't get the ad on to work with my movies. Everytime I try to run it, it tells me there's an error, so I'm assuming it's because my sequence isn't saved.
Please help! I've used cinemavision in the past and think it's a great feature

Make sure you have write permissions enabled wherever it is you're trying to save the file.

That's the thing though, when I click save or save as, it asks for a file name but not a location. I name it, click done and then get the error message.

It saves sequences in the Sequence folder of the CinemaVision directory. Sounds like write access was disabled or the path is no longer valid.

I had a cinemavision folder on my pc and I think I deleted it because I never used it. All I wanted to do was play trailers before my movies. I never downloaded anything. Is this where it saved my sequence? Is that why it won't save now because it's not there? How do I recreate this? I went to the CinemaVision website but couldn't find anything on the subject.

Never delete the CinemaVision folder, that is required for everything to work properly. I think you can recreate it if you go into the CinemaVision add-on and set the default directory again.

Not sure if there's a way to fix this one....
I have playlists on my menu for easy access. After I watch a playlist, then decide to go over and watch a movie through CV, the playlist shows up from my tv shows. I have to remove the entire playlist from the CV queue, then relaunch the movie to get it recognized.

What version of CV are you running? Is "Ignore Kodi playlist with only one item if there is a selection" enabled in the CV settings?

I am running the KODI Repo version of CV on a RPI2.
My CV is working well with a couple of problems, I am sure my issues have come up before but am having a bit of an issue narrowing down my search in this thread.
1. When playing trivia slides I can't get music to play, I have tried, single files, directories, pls files with no audio being played all content is located on an NFS share
2. When my sequence changes and my audio receiver changes audio modes there is a delay in the audio so I miss the first second or so of audio for my bumpers
If someone can point me in the right direction on these two issues that would be great.

I run Kodi on a rpi without the license for mpg2 file. So kodi can't play this file on my system. I think this file was a mp4 file before. Can you choose a more universal format for this file ?

Hi,
I'm having another issue with cinemavision on my shield tv. I don't believe that I changed anything in my setup, but now it won't play any trailers. It goes to a black screen for a good minute or so, then says error check the log. I have no idea why it would start doing that after working without a problem.
any thoughts?
