Don't have the time right now - would accept a patch as long as it didn't break anything elseI do agree though, the pvr views could be better.

Hey Mudis,
would it be possible to add some more information (as optional in settings) to the media info on the home screen. Here I am using the "Radio" plugin listening to a internet station. It'd be great if the text above the XBMC Menu Bar would also show the station that you are listening to, not only the song information. Don't know if this is possible or if it's a matter of the plugin one is using ... ?

I have been waiting a little while before upgrading from Gotham to Helix making sure the few bugs were ironed out (i'd love to help but my Python/XML skills are somewhat limited). And so I upgraded, and since I'm an unconditonal lover of CCM, I upgraded from your repository, under the impression that my menus would need rebuilding as you've reworked CCM from scratch. But the menus still work! Nothing has changed the upgrage is seemless. Is this to be expected?
There are now 75 pages in this post, so I thought I'd check with you before I start the daunting task of reading through the zillion posts.

Some thumbnails are missing on my home page add-ons with ccm-helix skin, how to update them?
Steps taken:
1) Open (for example) Vdubt add-on, navigate to a deep link in the addon, then add it to Favourites.
2) Add that favourite to a submenu in ccm-helix settings
3) When viewed on Home screen, there is no thumbnail for this vdubt favourite.
To try to fix, I right click this vdubt favourite in the favourites list and click 'update thumbnail' and select a thumbnail for it, ut this doesn't fix the problem.

Love the skin - I was wondering about two options.
1) Is there a way to change the ".." at the top of pages to something like "Back", or "Previous Menu"? I remember there being a setting in the Gotham CCM, but can't seem to find it in the new version.
2) Is there a way to disable the BACK and HOME icons when you navigate to the RIGHT twice in the menus? The cursor sometimes gets stuck down there without me realizing it, and it takes a while for me to track where it went.

I am fairly new to Kodi and I was wishing for more than five (for Video section) add-ons showing on the home page in Confluence, all other skiins were either too heavy or I was lost in them, or had too many sections on the homepage I don't use... anyway found this skin and I think I will stick with it.
On the first page here, first pic, how do you get those icons above the strip, are those perhaps for 'local files' only? I don't use Kodi with my own content (I run it on Android box ATV1200), not yet anyway, so didn't experiment with it.
Under Music there are couple links to radios (or 'channels'?) that work but the two Disney ones don't, I get popup that in Canada I am not eligible... Is there a way in Settings to remove those Disney links? I am setting up few boxes for other people and would like to have most things working if I can help it.
Thanks for improving on the Confluence skin. BTW that Hybrid skin, is that also for Kodi 14.1 Helix? Or for Gotham 13.2?

Yes the top widget sets are for the content of your local library. The only Radio or Channel links are for if a PVR backend has been installed as per regular Confluence. there are no "Disney" links in the official CCM-Helix - where did you download your version from ? But yes you can disable any of the menu items, right down to zero items - would be a bit stupid though.
"Hybrid Development" is being worked on and is for "Helix" although right now settings are being changed a fair bit - would be better to wait a week or so for something more stable.

1) It's been removed, users not using it were more vocal than the "zero" users who wanted it.
2) I know I've disabled them before, but it adds a fair bit of code - Every view where there is a scrollbar would have to be given an option as what todo - where as now they know to go past the scrollbar. I'll look at it, but wont be right away.
Try pressing "UP" when you're looking for the item in focus

CCM-Helix can only use the icon that is being returned by the favourites at the time of adding the shortcut to the home screen. If you look at the favourite in the favourites window, (before you add it to the home screen) The thumbnail shown should be the thumbnail used when adding the shortcut to the home screen.
Eg the path of the thumbnail gets written to the skin file when adding and doesn't change until you re-do the addon.

Something wrong 'cause I changed the skin folder for CCM-Helix when I started it as someone else had been working on a Helix version, so the CCM-Helix in the repo would have lost all your settings. However I did update the github so if you got it from there then maybe your settings were maintained. will be switching back to the original skin folders soon - as I need to re-organise a lot of my stuff.

What get's shown about the media being played when you're in fullscreen playback ?

Hmm Undecided. Trying to keep all the views in a panel as per original Confluence. That view is more suited to Hybrid which already has two "logo" type views.
What do other users think?
