RE: Arctic Fuse - Bindou - 2024-02-07 (2024-02-07, 04:41)jurialmunkey Wrote:(2024-02-07, 01:16)Bindou Wrote: Hello everyone, is there an automatic way to restore everything we created in Horizon 2 to Fuse? I understand Jurial. Is there at least a way to retrieve playlists created on TMDBHelper? RE: Arctic Fuse - Bindou - 2024-02-07 @jurialmunkey As it stands, it is impossible to stop the Trailer without having to go into full screen mode, which generates aggressive screen cuts. Do you think it is possible to stop the Trailer automatically, for example when we change tabs, when we leave the information area, or like Netflix, when we change Cover? RE: Arctic Fuse - Tsg2 - 2024-02-07 So I'm having an issue that I hope someone could point me in the right direction towards fixing please. So every time I open up kodi & let everything load my widgets disappear. I have to reauthorize Trakt and then reload the widgets and voila there they are again. This happens no matter which addon I set the widgets up to point towards, TMDBHelper or Fen. It's not a major deal, but I don't think it's supposed to work this way. Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance. RE: Arctic Fuse - CouchGuy - 2024-02-08 @jurialmunkey So it's not possible to just copy your default configuration to other profiles because of the 'guid'? I noticed that when I edit the setup in other profile, all profiles will look the same. RE: Arctic Fuse - Matthius7 - 2024-02-08 I have a quick question. I adore this skin. I am having issues making a recently watched movie widget with tmdb addon. Then stack a movie recommendation widget below on previously watched movie above. Can't achieve with my main addon either. With tmdb widget it acts as if it's going to add widget then never goes into folder to show and just returns me to the make widget column. I can make widget with my main addon recently watched movies and then let skin variables create and it doesn't show up in widgets. Is there something I can purge in databases to correct this. Please someone offer advice. And finally I def can go into tmdb addon /movies/your recently watched and see what I've watched. Just won't create widget Solved with the help of Omar's-comin. Had hide watched in widgets in settings of main addon and tmdb addon. Very cool now setup is divine and perfect. RE: Arctic Fuse - malvatov - 2024-02-09 Hello Could someone tell me in which .xml file are the options for the icons of "criterion", director's cut" ... Thanks and great job RE: Arctic Fuse - htpc-mac - 2024-02-10 Question about the PVR lookups. I am not sure the scraping behaviour or what scraper it uses but it it possible to tweak that? For example if the EPG entry has the genreId for sports could it scrap the sportsdb instead? Or is the scrapping independent of what scrapers are installed? Scraping a sports event from the EPG should technically show you a live score. RE: Arctic Fuse - jurialmunkey - 2024-02-10 (2024-02-10, 03:09)htpc-mac Wrote: Question about the PVR lookups. Or is the scrapping independent of what scrapers are installed? Scraping a sports event from the EPG should technically show you a live score. EPG data is filled by your PVR backend and client. You will need to speak with the author of your PVR backend/client addon and/or your EPG data supplier. This has very little to do with the skin and nothing to do with library scrapers. If your EPG is crap and has very little data, TMDbHelper will do it's best to help fill in blanks when it comes to movies/tvshows metadata. But that depends on if it can find a reasonable match on TMDb using whatever little EPG data is provided by your PVR client, It's definitely not it's job to ensure your EPG data is complete or look up sports info or other details outside of TMDb. That's the PVR's job. RE: Arctic Fuse - htpc-mac - 2024-02-10 To clarify 'PVR Lookups' in settings hands of to the TMDbHelper to grab fan art based on EPG data? I'm just trying to understand the chain of events. IF a similar addon were to exist for TheSportsdb could that be handled in a similar fashion? Edit: I was asking you in a developer thread since you have an amazing skillset and understanding of kodi addons. It appears by inquiry would be solved by an addon that would does what THMdHelper from TheSportsdb . Which is outside the scope of the skin. Ultimately I was wonder what what need to be done to get https://www.thesportsdb.com/docs_artwork this artwork to appear in lieu of TMDbHelper if it detected 'sports category'. I know that the NHL Score addon can scrape the two team names from the EPG and 'exclude' itself from notifications if you are watching the game. Edit: I see the lookup grab artwork on the EPG page not the OSD, which I thought it did. I thought I remember seeing a clearlogo on the pause OSD for a PVR channel. I was incorrect. What I was seeking was clearlogos on the seek, so to speak. RE: Arctic Fuse - sdss222 - 2024-02-12 Any thoughts on picture watching with Artic Fuse? I haven't found a way to nicely link to my Picture sources, so I end up just going to settings>Pictures>sources if I want to look at photos. RE: Arctic Fuse - ambulancePilot - 2024-02-13 The skin has come together so nicely as of late! Love the latest standardizations. Just wanted to say it's looking great. So to answer your follow-up question, yes, technically it is possible to have another addon like TMDbHelper dedicated to sports details. However, it will specifically need skin support to be integrated into the skin and because it is not attached to the specific ListItem it will only work in the specific contexts where the lookup is done and won't follow it into the player window or other places. The more important point though is that it is an extremely inefficient approach. TMDbHelper is a temporary band-aid for addons lacking metadata not a cure. Using a service to supplement artwork after the fact should be the very last option considered. This is far far far better addressed via the PVR addon itself where the details can be added directly to the ListItem before it is created rather than in a separate background thread for a separate hidden item afterwards. I haven't found a way to nicely link to my Picture sources, so I end up just going to settings>Pictures>sources if I want to look at photos. Ah good point. Hadn't realised that I hadn't added options to add shortcuts or widgets for picture sources. Will fix that up next update. Widget scrolling not activated at boot - DragonFly - 2024-02-14 Still trying to mimic Arctic Horizon's 2 behavior in Arctic Fuse (0.4.71) with Classic mode. That is, I'd like some sort of spotlight when the system is idle or at first start...just to please the eyes. I've accomplished that by making some minor changes to the Home hub: - Used Prebuilt -> library-basic - Activated 'autoscroll' for 'New Movies' This works as expected. The GUI nicely shows the artwork for the respective movie. However, this doesn't work when Kodi is first started. The skin has its focus on the first movie in the widget row, shows its artwork, but doesn't scroll. I need to do one little nudge up with remote => the Home hub icon is then activated and the scrolling begins. Can the scrolling begin at boot or have the Home Hub icon activated (which initiates scrolling). It would make me very happy. |
