I saw a post on the forum on accomplishing this using the confluence skin, so I attempted with CCM but with no success. I'm using NextPVR as my back/frontend if that makes any difference with schedules direct as my xml source.
Displaying the colors of the EPG Depend on your PVR....
If PVR have diferent number for title in EPG genretype (default is 256),your EPG Timeline will show collors.
I use SimpleIPTV And my genrettype for all Title is 256 all the same collors ,but I change in skin the collors of EPG depends of Genre.(Drama,Sport,Movies,Action....) In My Epg Its Different for all Title.
I use this
Code:
<texture border="3">genres/$INFO[ListItem.Genre].png</texture>
And Create folder with collored .png (sport.png)

Hi, I just came over from the Confluence Modified by Space monkey, as he stopped development. This skin seems to be very close and works good on my HTPC with XBMCbuntu. But some things I miss ... What about the logos for movies? Is there a chance to get them visible instead of the film title text in the wall view? The translation to german seems to have some mistakes and I'd like to help. Is there project on transiflex or an other way to support you?

As a point of interest I see there is a Frodo version 1.3.4 online HERE

Thanks a lot Mudislander, very appreciated.

How can I add addon shortcuts to the homescreen?

CCM is on Transifex, any help is appreciated. Re the logos on the wall view, there's actually not enough room at the top. I've looked at having logo's up there with Hybrid but was too squashed.

Then again CCM now accepts code on Github if you want to try yourself Big Grin

Several problems - Wichte - 2014-05-26

I recently have switched from madmax' confluence mod to this one: I like the standard confluence, but it's simply lacking too much features, so this mod fills the gap perfectly. Thanks for the work!

Anyway, several smaller problems:

I cannot remove submenu entries once they have been added, or if they are present by skin default. That's strange, because I know I was able to do that when I first gave CCM a try a few days ago Huh ?! However, currently I can only add or modifiy submenu items, but not remove or hide them.
Is it possible to customize the "System" homemenu-entry (especially the submenu items) in the same style as the other home menu entries?
I also can't modify the submenu-entries for the "Live TV" homemenu-entry. Bug or feature?
I'm using the TVTunes-addon for TV shows. However, when XBMC is playing "theme.mp3" during browsing the TV shows, the display always flickers between the usual browser view and something which looks like the music player display/visualisation.
On Live TV, sometimes the Video OSD pops up for a few seconds.
Sometimes when adding/modifying a submenu item, I'm asked twice to enter the name. Annoying, but no great disturbance.
Looking at guisettings.xml, I get the feeling that there are a few options which are not configurable by GUI (holiday fanart etc.).

Another question:
How can I edit guisettings.xml? I tried to do some stuff manually, e.g. setting submenu items to "Hidden", but this seems to get overwritten all the time. Also my guisettings.xml is crowded with skin.hybrid entries - I don't know if CCM creates them or if they are a leftover from my tryout of the Hybrid skin.

Dude - Really !! Skin Settings - Addons and then choose addon set in the menu item settings. I can't make it much easier, please at least have a go and try before asking

Someone who has tried Big Grin

If you edit guisettings.xml while XBMC is running then your stuff will get overwritten. You have to stop XBMC and then edit the file, easier on some systems than others. Yes you can change quite a few things there.

All skins save their settings there, so if you tried Hybrid then the settings will be there.

The option to change items to "Hidden" has gone walkabout - I'll rescue it asap. Right now am changing providers and only have internet by tethering my phone, so will be a week or two.

TVTunes lately has been giving me issues - Actually dropped it out of Hybrid. Try turning off the "Auto Viz with Audio Playback" setting because that's one area with an issue.

LiveTV - not too much I can do there ATM, but now have a satellite dish installed, so will be able to connect LiveTV soon.

Gotham runs differently under the hood to how Frodo did while reading skin settings - now much faster, this is why had to make a few quick adjustments to keep the MOD running- so silly things like wanting to know the name of an item after it's been cleared etc. These are being looked at

RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - Wichte - 2014-05-26

Thanks for the quick reply.

OK, but that explains it: I can't get rid of those entries because my edits/deletions are overwritten all the time. (I'm a bit surprised, I think I could change Frodo's settings file will XBMC was running, is this a new Gotham feature or is my memory slowly failing...)

The manual solution is to define the entries as "Hidden" in guisettings.xml (with XBMC stopped)?

I will try that. What exactly does this setting do? I turned it on as I wanted to autostart my Artist Slideshow when playing music. Am I getting something wrong here.

It's not directly TV related. But: For all other homemenu-entries (except system...) I am able to modify the submenu. For "Live TV" this option seems to be missing.

Anyway, have fun with your provider change Angel.

RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - Mudislander - 2014-05-26

Will eventually get the Hybrid submenu system across - where you can change all submenu items including "system" and "LiveTV"

Sorry, I meant the "Fanart" view for the movies. There should be enough space for replacing the text with the logos.

For the translation I think I found the right place on transiflex and made some corrections. But I think there is one error in the skin options dialogue (see screenshot). The corresponding text "Status Overlay benutzen" I couldn't find on transiflex.

RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - jcorsaut - 2014-05-26

Mudislander,

Is it possible to take the epg layout from Hybrid and put it into CCM? I like the layout from hybrid showing show info below the channels, but also like the grey colouring scheme from CCM (not transparent as in hybrid).

Thanks in advance

Thanks for that - In English that label is

Code:
msgctxt "#31153"
msgid "Home Menu"
msgstr ""

I'll look at logos on fanart view

Edit Had a quick look and believe it or not it's still quite squashed Smile but could movel stuff around. Are you talking about having the logo on the background or on the popup panel ?

Sorry about that I should've made my post more detailed. My problem was that I was coming from the normal confluence skin and I was amazed with the amount of customizations. So after sitting down for a long time playing with the settings seeing what they do, I was able to understand the theme. Until I went to add addons to the homescreen. I searched this thread and the forums on xbmc for anyhelp but ended up posting for help. Thanks for your help I solved my problem and was able to solve my problem.

RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - Mudislander - 2014-05-26

No problem, went through a bunch of remarks a while back where the user hadn't even looked at the MOD. So get a little tense now - My bad Wink
