for blackout on play to work. Also in media, tvg-tv has been renamed to tvg-tv2 so currently it shows nothing if no programme thumb is present instead of TV shape box.
Yeah line 154 is what I forgot to remove (i added it during testing), it's the bug I mentioned.

tvg-tv has been renamed so that it doesn't appear. I mean no offence to anyone but I think it's ugly and kind of redundant. I see no need for a blank TV outline when an image doesn't appear, but if people want it included, I can add it back in.

Update to my skin will be uploaded later on this evening UK time.

That's back in so that you can tell when the Program Image downloader in Lab1 has found an image and it is currently being downloaded by Kodi, or it is at least trying to. Wink It's not necessary but it gives you a clue that something is happening in the background.

[EDIT] It also helps balance the layout. I think something there helps, even a slight transparency over the background.

How about a TV image like this instead? It's pretty. My grandmother would have loved it. Smile

@primaeval, @RayW1986, thanks so much for all the effort you are putting on this addon. Really grateful. @RayW1986, please am trying to use some crayon on your Skin to suit my needs lol. I have changed some of the stuff I want but I cant seems to locate the image used for the black tile effect. I checked the media file but cant identify it. Any hint will be highly appreciated.

make a folder called userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\resources\skins
unzip Blue.zip to userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\resources\skins\Blue
Settings \ Appearance \ Skin Type = Yours
User Skin Name = Blue

Certainly better than placing them in the actual addon folder like I did which then gets replaced with each update Wink

Cheers!

Do you mean the black between the EPG? If so, look for black.png / black-back.png / black-fade.png. It'll be one of those.

Thanks for all the effort here. Nice epg. One question (for now at least) Smile Is there a way to add a channel? I have a .strm file that i'd like to play from the epg even though there is no guide data for it. I'd just like to add the channel with my own description and play it from the guide.

Use webgrab+ and create a dummy channel http://www.webgrabplus.com/comment/789#comment-789

It's partially based on my original default skin for FTV Guide and slightly inspired by the YouView set top boxes.

@ RayW1986, good work, congratulations. Could you correct the position where it shows the name of the active addon? It is currently being shown in the footer of the "stream setup" page and is hidden behind the pip window when a channel is being displayed. I suggest repositioning in the left corner of the footer of the main page. Sorry for my English. Look at the pictures, I think it will be clearer what I mean. Thank you.

@moshoodo123 - The files you are looking for are tvg-program-focus/nofocus.png, but they're not black. The black is created by a black background, as Ray says above, I think it's probably black-back.png.

Yeah the black background is a combination of black.png, black-back.png and black-fade.png (I'm messy Tongue)

I won't be able to upload my skin with fixes tonight, unfortunately. I haven't got to a computer today to do anything. Sad
