Now I'm able to receive RSS feeds (channels) via Pushbullet on Kodi.

I do get the RSS feeds on Kodi as normal notifications in the lower right corner, but for some reason I don't see them in the notifications history (when I open Pushbullet on Kodi).
In the history I see the messages I've sent from other devices, but feeds are not to be found. Is this a bug?
I'm haven't done much with the channels as muttley handled that aspect. The history by default shows only items pushed specifically to Kodi. Have you tried switching the view to All pushes? If that doesn't work, it may be that channel pushes are like mirror pushes, which is to say they are temporary and not saved in the history. Do these pushes show up in your list of pushes on the Pushbullet site?

Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the help. I really appreciate it.
I'm not sure what you mean by "switching the view to All pushes". I haven't been able find any settings about it. I've checked the addon's settings, my PB-app on my computer, and under my profile on pushbullet.com.

In the addons settings under interface, there is the option 'Default Pushes To View On Start' where you set whether you want to view the pushes for the device, all your devices, or whatever you last selected from the context menu in the GUI.

Also, I was still wondering if these pushes show up in your list of pushes on the Pushbullet site?

Ahh, found it. It was set to "This device". I changed it to "All", and – lo and behold – I'm now able to see all the previous RSS feeds from my channel on Kodi. Very nice – just what I wanted.

And yes, I am able to see the pushes on my Pushbullet site. I also have the Pb app on my computer, on which I'm also able to see the pushes.
But the feature (to receive RSS feeds via a Pb-channel) seems a bit buggy: I've often noticed that feeds stop coming – at least on my computer. In order to renew the feed I have to restart the app.
But feed seems to work on the Pb site as I receive a bunch of notifications once I restart the app.
I don't know if the feeds are – in spite of the buggy computer app – still forwarded to Kodi. I'll check next time the computer's app fails.

Hi,
I am trying to authorize your plugin but when I am forwarded from auth.2ndmind.com to the pushbullet website after a few seconds I get "Error loading client with id:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx", am I doing something wrong?

Thank you

I'm on vacation for a couple more days, but when I get home I'll see what the issue is.

The auth module is developed by ruuk and also the server for allow this great features is hosted by him...I really don't know how help you.

But In the mean time you could use the 'old' system, by insert directly the access token:

Quote:For set the Pushbullet access token as well as in the addon settings, you can directly edit the file:
userdata/addon_data/service.pushbullet/settings.xml
Before you have to change some settings through the gui, after that the file is created.

Ciao!

@ruuk: have good vacation!!! Big Grin

Sorry, I forgot all about this. It seems to be working fine when I tested it just now. Let me know if you are still having this issue.

I'm having an issues with authorization. Kodi generates the code but when I enter it on the auth.2ndmind.com i get: The param 'redirect_uri' has an invalid value. (Image below)
I have two other working Kodi devices.

Any ideas? cheers

RE: Pushbullet - Your devices working better together - ruuk - 2015-05-02

I'll fix it today. I bought an SSL certificate for auth.2ndmind.com so it wouldn't have to redirect to the goofy hosting URL anymore and I forgot to change the settings on Pushbullet to reflect this.
