I just installed on my FireTV stick. I've only used it for a short time, but so far, so great!
It loads up in a heartbeat, and plays movie videos just fine.
I compared it to the "official" app for the Fire stick, and there's no contest. This app wins by a landslide!
Highly recommended!

Just a bit more background. on a windows desktop browser, I am able to login. On an iphone app I am able to login. On an android tablet I am able to login. However on an iphone mobile browser, I get an error that says "oops something went wrong..." The only way I can prevent this error was to use https://m.youtube.com and it works. Now on the Android TV box, I just get the "Login failed" error.

you don't have to use the browser on the device. This is a routine YouTube uses for TVs and they haven't any browser (some of them).

For example, this line works perfectly

What you provided was the title of the video.
The other thing that works for you is a search
