There are a ton of options for how this guide finds and displays images now.
Post an example of the image url and the contents of your settings.xml.

Channel Up/Down moves you up and down the channels though doesn't it? My suggestion would be that you use the Quick EPG & have the i key mapped to show/hide info. Pressing i in Quick EPG currently does nothing. To access Quick EPG you press Down, then Back to exit, so adding info into it wouldn't be disruptive I don't think.

I've not tried but you could probably replicate your mod into the quick EPG by limiting the number of visible channels to one, that way it could look exactly as you want and give you the info functionality.

EDIT - I just tried this & it looks like it would require a bit of a change to the gui.py, more specifically self.quickChannelIdx. If my suggestion is of use perhaps this could be a user defined number instead of being hard-coded as 3? Personally I'm happy to leave it at 3, but if it helps moshoodo123 to achieve his mod it might be worth doing, just a thought.

As it's an easy add, how about longer file grab durations? Theres 12h, 24h and 48h i believe, how about 2 weeks worth of intervals? I had been using zap2it with webgrab and 300 channels was taking about 12 hours to grab 7 days. I migrated my lineup to custom grabbed yo.tv providers and i can now do 14 days worth of listings in 2 hours for the same 300 channels .

As long as your channel logos match the name of the channel you should be able to find them.
I had a couple that match in my logos folder like QVC.png and ESPN.png.

If you want program images with zap2xml you have to enable them with -I

There is something wrong with zap2xml though. It contains invalid utf8 characters.
You can see this if you open the xmltv file in Notepad++ and try to save it. It will show you the errors.
