RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - SophT - 2013-03-31 (2013-03-31, 01:18)MariusTh86 Wrote: Apparantly xbmc wants to hide the actors folder from the user, whereas I'd like the user to know exactly what my app does, and where it places everything, rather then finding themselves with a folder size that is bigger then it seems it should be to 'average' users. Well, I'm not accessing from the same machine b/c I'm using a NAS - but I'm not "average" either. I was kinda surprised they'd put something a hidden folder. Just a thought though on resolving the two issues - how about putting the actors in ".actors" and creating a symlink called "actors"? RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-03-31 Actually, I might do it the other way around, using an invisible symlink. ^^ RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - BillyBunter - 2013-03-31 I've just come across this error when doing an "Update List" Code: Runtime Exception: Nil Object Exception Hope you can help as it's stopping me from adding any new films to the database. BB RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-03-31 Official release v0.7a6: http://goo.gl/sfQNa Update Information: http://goo.gl/NTwnh Enjoy! Perfect timing billy. ![]() Not sure yet why that's happening, but i'll try and find out. Try removing some of the movie sources from the preferences and re-adding them one by one to find out which source might be causing the problem. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - SophT - 2013-04-01 uhoh! on the newest version (0.17 I think...) clicking "replace" when changing a backdrop for a movie deletes the old backdrop - but doesn't download the new one! Yes. Noticed this also. Going back a version. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-04-01 Well that's a little oopsie, but nothing I can't fix. ^^ RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - retro83 - 2013-04-01 (2013-03-31, 01:47)MariusTh86 Wrote: Does it still crash in this build: works, thanks ![]() Found an issue though ... Code: ViMediaManager 0.7a4c / 2013-03-30T13:50:27 This occurs if i right click on a series, (in this case 'First Life with David Attenborough' but it seems to apply to all) and then click Fetch Meta Data & Replace Images. If I chose 'Don't replace' there is no crash. If it helps, these directories have already been scraped by Ember, so there are images/nfo files in the folder already. Here's the listing: Code: ls /Volumes/pool/Video/TV/Documentaries/First\ Life\ \(2010\) In your trace I see 'move to trash' - not sure if that'd be possible on this volume as it is mounted from my NAS. Thanks. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - BillyBunter - 2013-04-01 Hi there, I made sure I removed and added the only 1 movie source, but still got this when I did an "Update List" Code: Runtime Exception: Nil Object Exception RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-04-01 Fixed the move to trash error in the latest release, and I think I just found the "Update List" error, in which case, that should also be fixed in the upcoming bug fix release. ^^ RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - BillyBunter - 2013-04-01 Prefect! Will let you know. BB RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - retro83 - 2013-04-01 Good man, thanks. Loving this app. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - SophT - 2013-04-02 (2013-04-01, 10:04)MariusTh86 Wrote: Well that's a little oopsie, but nothing I can't fix. ^^ I guess that's why it's an "alpha" right ![]() RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2013-04-02 Let's hope so, and that i'll do better work testing by the time i get to beta's and final's ^^; RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - asharak - 2013-04-02 I notice in the latest release notes you mentioned that .actors was now supported however when re-scraping my media the folder was created just as actors with the "." in front, how do I change this behavior? |
