mfsav2 Wrote:nul7,
I have a huge (+1000 titles) offline library and I cannot re input all dvd.
I have them in another program.

I can generate a list with title - imdb url (if available)

Request 1:
Can the Offline DVD take this list and process it generating the folders etc...
if the IMDB is not available than it should be managed as a "home made" (otherwise IMDB could return crappy info) so wallpaper etc generated from the video.

something like a Batch Offline DVD generator!

Request 2:
for folder title I need to add to the name the year in () to avoid confusion on movies with the same title (example: Twilight). Can you add a flag to do it?
The year should be taken by IMDB (or in my case I can export it too)

Thanks for the help.

Please open a feature issue so we dont forget about it...
We will look at it after feature freeze.

You can put THIS FILE into the "bin" directory. It's the one from the SVN trunk.

Ops, sorry
yes the file is missing from Ember Media Manager Extras 09
Please download the Ember Media Manager Extras 09.1
or just the language.xml and drop it in bin/ folder

Nonu, I also found that flags aren't fully working with the new extras 09 archive

Great update.

One small thing - EMM still uses 'dts' whereas XBMC uses 'dca'.

Hi guys,

really a nice piece of sw.

If you don't mind I would like to add a couple of suggestion:
1) Offline place holder is such a wonderful function. What I would like to suggest is to use the fanart as background for the video file like in this mockup:

2) In the edit window would be possible to add a section for all the "Media Information" to be able to edit manually without going to the xml file.

If you guys think these are reasonable request I will put it in the proper place.

Regards
Max

You allready can use fanart as background, "use fanart for place holder video" checkbox, just not like you mockup.. but I like it Smile so will look at it

and yes.. place a issue so we can look at it

If I try to open the solution with 2005 it tells me is done with a new version.

Which one do you use? 2008 ?

I'm having trouble adding a source under 'Files and Sources'. I can successfully browse to a directory and add a source path. As soon as I type any character in the Source name box the windows closes down and returns me to the main ember screen. I've not used EMM before so I didn't have a config file from any previous version.

Can anyone post the lines I need to put in the settings.xml for my movies path so I can do this bit manually?

That should not happen... just delete Media.emm and settings.xml and start EMM again
(That only happen when wrong version of the db is in place.. but this version should delete it first time it runs)
