Yup. I edit the service.py.
The zip file, must have a bigger number than the version you have installed. If not, it wont update. Maybe that was your issue.

Meanwhile, I used ChatGPT to create a faster version of LegendasDivx (addon). I don't understand much about python, so I used ChatGPT to optimize some smaller functions. ChatGPT couldn't process the larger ones. With only 3 functions altered by ChatGPT, I achieved significant improvements:

The Usual Suspects went from 33 seconds to 8 seconds.
A Separation 2011 went from 27 seconds to 7 seconds.

This is 4x faster...

You can install this new zip or you can also just copy the service.py.

hi, today i've made a fresh install on windows 10 and the add-on gave "no subtitles found".

i've already had that problem on my android tv and tried to get to work on windows now but the result is the same...

versions:
kodi 20.2
addon legendasdivx 1.0.6

Any idea?

Already checked xbmcvfs.translatePath on the files ppl mencioned and it was correct
