If I download your "mod / addon" will it remove all previous settings I've made to the theme? You can safely install this mod along side Arctic Zephyr as it has a unique ID. See here for instructions on adding support for genre icons. http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=217174&pid=2146835#pid2146835 RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - Edworld - 2015-11-01 Jarvis installed but can't get it to work. it doesn't even load the skin i believe the Issue is with script.skinshortcut "unable to build menu" RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - braz - 2015-11-01 (2015-11-01, 05:18)Edworld Wrote: Jarvis installed but can't get it to work. it doesn't even load the skinBe sure you have the latest skinshortcuts from github installed. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - bsoriano - 2015-11-01 Hello Bryan, I am having an issue with the skin, in that it does not let me switch to another skin. If I delete the guisetttings file and go back to Confluence, then I cannot switch to your skin. I removed the settings.xml for the skin from the addon_data folder, but I still have the same issue. I am using the latest Jarvis nightly (from today) running under Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. This has been going on for at least one week, I just had not reported it yet since I thought it was a Kodi issue. Any ideas? Thanks for your help. If you edit your guisettings.xml and set it to another skin, you'll find that you can't switch skins from it either. You don't need to delete your guisettings.xml, just open it up and change the skin id to another skin. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - beljim7419 - 2015-11-01 Same as above Skin doesn't work on Jarvis Alpha 4. Skin refuses to load. Skin refuses to load.Hmm, see what you mean after wiping my guisettings.xml...looking into it now. Update, no idea what's causing this, tried replacing Startup.xml and DialogSelect.xml with the Arctic Zephyr originals, but problem persists. Checked addon.xml but didn't see any issues. Not going to spend any more time looking into this unless someone has an idea what might be causing it. Skin loads fine when putting the skin id directly in guisettings.xml. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - Kokonutcreme - 2015-11-02 Bryan, running latest nightly build when I try to switch to another skin, I can't see the prompt "do you wish to keep this change - yes or no" to select yes. This behaviour only occurs with your mod of AZ Only way to switch is to go into Addons browser and navigate to My Addons and skin you want to switch to and select "Use" RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - braz - 2015-11-02 Known issue, see above. RE: skin.arctic.zephyr.braz - beljim7419 - 2015-11-03 O.K. took me a while but tracked the issue down. It's the Font.xml. If I switch the font.xml from Zephyr to Braz the Skin loads so looks like that file needs attention. It's the Font.xml.Hmm, interesting. Will take a look tonight, thanks! The only differences I saw (comparing it to other font.xml files from other Jarvis-compatible skins) is that the fontset id in this skin is "Skin Default" and in other skins it is just "Default". Also, the fontset in other Jarvis skins has the "locid" attribute, but I guess that is only used if you are localizing the fonts. I went ahead and changed the fontset id to just "Default" and now I can switch skins. Hopefully this gives you some more clues as to what the issue is. I recall changing it to Skin default to match the other labels in the Appearance settings. Bad move on my part.
