If you want to ask for a change to one of my addons, please let me know and ask politely.
I'll see what I can do.

Sir, please don't misconstrue my shortness for being rude. If you want to handle the offset, that would be fantastic - if there is already a way to handle this, I can try it out if let me know.

Nice try. Have another go without the /s.

Honestly, don't worry about it. It seems as though I didn't come across right. Not sure what /s is, but I can guess. Thanks for the information, I'll take a look.

I think I can just not correct the channel offset and I should be good.

I know it is difficult to express the right tone on the internet.

The work I and most of the other people do on here for Kodi is done for free, in our spare time, and we like to share with people who appreciate our work and share back.

A few of your comments came across as if this is a commercial program which wasn't good enough for you.

I can add a Setting in this addon or the Webgrab+Plus Configurator that toggles the use of offsets, if that is what you would like.

I have noticed that when I change a channel source then go back to the guide the channel logo will change to some random logo until I exit and restart.

I use the logos that come naturally, no logo folder.

Thanks for the report.
I think there is something strange going on with the logo code.
I'll try to get to it next.

@primaeval I remove the request for any change, if I am the only one with the problem I can work around it.

It looks like if I configure the add-on to take the intermediate file guide_mdb.xml, before the offset is applied - I can make it work.

For the record, I appreciate you and the other developer hard work. Thanks.

Cool. I'll leave it as it is unless someone finds a real need for a Setting. Thanks.

0.0.55
- logo fix (hopefully)

This should allow the logos to be picked up if the stream source is from the Addon Folder list.

The previous icons.ini file userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen is probably corrupt now.

Try deleting icons.ini and doing an Addon Folder Refresh in the Optional Settings.

If you add icons this way and there is a major Settings change or Refresh On Start is enabled, all the icons will be reset.

The safest way to keep your icons is to use the Add Folder command in Stream Setup and Settings\Lab\Download All Addon Folder Logos.
Then point the Logos\External Logo Source\Logos Folder to userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\logos

Ok, I was mistaken - I am still having issues. I would love to see a feature where tv guide honors the channel offset applied as part of the LibreELEC WebGrab+Plus script.

This would be greatly appreciated, unless someone has a workaround.

Did you do a database reset in TV Guide Fullscreen?
The old program information might still be in the database.

If not can you show me an example channel in the config, offset and xmltv files.

Wow, just discovered this addon and have to say it is freaking awesome. Well done and I'll be looking forward to messing with the code (I like a bit of monty python!). Cheers and keep up the great work Smile

RE: TV Guide with built-in Addon browser (.ini free) - iainmacleod - 2016-08-10

I assume you mean the source.db file in the userdata addon_data folder, I just wiped that, reloaded and it appears the same.

So, some background - I am using the same guide.xml in both the TV Guide addon and the TV Guide Fullscreen addon. As you mentioned the TV Guide doesn't handle timezeones, so the developer made a file called chans2correct.xml. Within chan2correct I can specify the xmltv_id and define an offset, this offset is then processed after all the xml information has been grabbed.

Examples from the WebGrap++.config.xml would be:

BBC1

WPXI(NBC)

Then in the chan2correct.xml file I do not specify the CBS, because I don't need an offset - so I just define an offset for the BBC:

BBC1

This results in the following in the guide.xml, for 3pm EST:
<programme start="20160810140000 +0100" stop="20160810170000 +0100" channel="BBC1">

Olympics 2016

<sub-title lang="en">Day Five.</sub-title>

<programme start="20160810150000 +0000" stop="20160810153000 +0000" channel="Me TV">

The Rifleman

<sub-title lang="en">The Patsy</sub-title>

Let me know if you need anything else.

Let me know if you need anything else.

I need a couple more bits of information.
What do the programs look like in the intermediate file before the offset is applied.
What was the actual UK time for the Olympics program.

I know the code to deal with all this gets complicated quickly.
I had to deal with it in my TV Listings addon.
Could you see if that addon gives you the right times for your location for BBC1.
It is in my repo.
