RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - Karny - 2024-11-10 I have been using this theme for awhile, thank you it's great! Since upgrading to v1.9.1 all I get is a black screen in the theme. I am running the latest flatpak version on ubuntu, if that helps. I tried deleting the userdata addon database, and reinstalling the latest latts repo and theme. It loads the menu when I change the theme, then I accept to use the theme and I only get a black screen. Am I the only one having this problem? RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - Karny - 2024-11-10 Hmm, I completed deleted my ~/.kodi folder, and re-installed from scratch/nothing. The theme seems to work. I must have been missing something (or had an extra something) between all the updates. Possibly from not resetting the settings and reloading from save. Last time I did this (saveing, resetting, reloading) I had all kinds of problems. RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - TumblingDice - 2024-11-13 @latts9923 Thank you for your patience and guidance. I haven't mentioned that I was hit big time with long-term Covid "brain fog" two years ago. It's because of that disability that I wanted to do my job as well as possible on this end before asking for more help. I'm aiming is to have a sweet, 4k skin. The MQ 9 updates look to be the answer. Towards that goal I've completely rebuilt a brandy-new fresh installation beginning with Debian 12. I established basic settings under Estuary, and then installed the latest MQ 9 directly from your repo site. Now I feel comfortable asking stupid questions, such as: What do you mean by the OSD? <g> Can you point me to that? When I play Music, often from Playlists, I want to see the next song that will play displayed on the "now playing" main screen. Estuary displayed this before I used addons to move to the latest MQ 9. Now I can't locate how to invoke this "next" play display with MQ9. Can you please step me through the process to configure this option? RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - Genuine3000 - 2024-11-14 Is there a way to display the AV1 icon like X265 It's empty now RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - latts9923 - 2024-11-14 @Karny Were you using the vertical main menu when you updated? There is one step you need to follow to restore the vertical menu after an update. It's listed at the bottom of each update post. @TumblingDice The OSD is the "On-Screen Display". You can access that by pressing "M" while playing video or music. I'm pretty sure every layout in the music viz screen will display the next track info. If you're not seeing the music viz screen when you select a song, you can go to SETTINGS ► MEDIA ► MUSIC and enable "SWITCH TO VISUALIZATION ON PLAYBACK". @Genuine3000 The video codec flag is determined by the strVideoCodec column in the streamdetails table of your video database. I see the AVC1 icon for some of my Movies. RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - Genuine3000 - 2024-11-17 @latts9923 Indeed, this is it RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - latts9923 - 2024-11-17 @Genuine3000 Cool. Can you check something for me please? Open your MyVideos database and select your movie table. Find the Movie name in the c00 column that you think should display the AV1 logo. To the left of the name is the idFile number. Now select the streamdetails table and find that idFile number. Is there any text in the strVideoCodec field for that idFile number? RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - Genuine3000 - 2024-11-18 @latts9923 Ah finally time nope there is nothing, non-existent in streamdetails doesn't find the id nr RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - latts9923 - 2024-11-18 @Genuine3000 OK...thanks for checking! I will add code to display the AV1 icon. It will require you to add an extension (.av1. or something similar) to the filename in order to show the icon in the media flags. RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - Genuine3000 - 2024-11-18 @latts9923 Great Thx .AV1 are foreseen nice RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - latts9923 - 2024-11-27 UPDATE #52 - This will update the skin to v1.9.2

RE: Aeon MQ 9 Multi-Mod for Kodi 20 (Nexus) - Karny - 2024-11-27 @latts9923 No, i never used the vertical menu. I am not sure what the problem was but rebuilding/resetting everything fixed it. The latest update seems to have broken the widgets. If I go in a menu in the widget management section. I can add the latest episodes or movies and it shows ok in the interface. However, it doesn't show above the menu and when I press up I can't get back to the menu. Is this a known issue in the latest update?
