RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - lidorx3 - 2019-04-05

Does this version of artetic zaphyr 2 would work on kodi 17.6 too?

ok.
I'll give it a try as soon as possible.
For my previous tests, I felt every skin using script skin.helper.service.widget laggy on my rpi3 (with a lot of widgets refresh and redrawing)
Skin Helper is not a requirement for the skin to work, so you don't need to install skinhelper if you'd prefer not to.
I aim to use emby as media server, with multiple libraries.
So I need to use custom widgets, and I guess it relies on skinhelper, right ?

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - ofory2012 - 2019-04-05

Hi mate , i finish installing the skin but it doesnt seem to work , i mean inicialize , start. Its stuck in the initializing skin screen , with the bussy icon on it.
I install from both the repository and the .zip. Any thoughts?
Forgive my english.
Thanks

For Krypton 17.6 therefore nothing to do? Sad

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - david86bcn - 2019-04-05

Is it normal that when you want to see the OSD while playing a movie, it stops for two seconds before displaying the OSD and then continue playing?

Not possible afaik. Info is a separate dialog on top so it take focus.

I have no idea. I don't use emby. I don't see why you would need skinhelper though - why can't you just use the path to the emby addon?

Sounds like a skinshortcuts issue. Would need a debug log to know though.

No

This happens in the nvidia shield, in pc no. When I press the button to show the progress information, pause, advance, etc. the video stops for about two seconds, then the information is displayed and the video continues. could you try to fix it? Thank you.

(2019-04-05, 00:57)Sjors125 Wrote: 60 minutes seems very long to me too.

5 second and 10 second intervals would seem logically, or calculating it backwards (like I guess you already did)

* 1 per 3 minutes = 180 secs
* 1 per 2 minutes = 120 secs
* 2 per 3 minutes = 90 secs
* 1 per minute = 60 secs
* 2 per minute = 30 secs
* 3 per minute = 20 secs
* 4 per minute = 15 secs
* 5 per minute = 12 secs
* 6 per minute = 10 secs
* 10 per minute = 6 secs
* 12 per minute = 5 secs

Something like that. Seems to me that 5 or 6 per minute is the fastest one should need. Otherwise it would become a headache-festival.
If some people have the need for very long times, you could ofcourse set some very long inteverals, like 300 and 600 seconds. Even longer would give a higher chance of burn-in on some tv's.

I've already added options in the latest v0.9.23 release. Current options are:
10s
12s
15s
20s
30s
60s
10m

Let me know if you find you need an option between 60s and 10m as I know that is quite a gap!
I would say, 90s, 120s, 180s, 300s
That would cover most user cases I think

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - bb10 - 2019-04-05

One last thing I miss from AZ1 is the option to display the clearlogo when a video is paused.

Yeah, PVr still needs quite a few additions. It is difficult for me to skin it because I currently do not have working pvr - my tuner (playstation play) doesn't have win 10 drivers, and I can't get reception in my loungeroom where my libreelec machine is.
Why don't you just install IPTV Simple Client? This would give you at least Live TV to play with.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - drinfernoo - 2019-04-05

I went ahead and updated the current version on the repo to 0.9.23~alpha3 Smile I'll be away for the weekend, but I'll try and push any updates on Monday if jurial doesn't get to them first.
