You need to install them by going to ADD-ONS > INSTALL FROM ZIP FILE for each one.

Nowhere: When install from Zipfile you are asked for the location of the file!

I did copy the media folder, and have colored icons. But now all the watched flags are gone. Any ideas?

Sorry for taking so long to reply, you need to have those installed first. Multi-Mod can direct you to the addons and then repeat the steps to overwrite the textures.xbt in the studio icons.

As for the watched flags, 2 questions:
1) Have you tried flagging your movie as watched? To do so, you must long press your select button (whatever you use for making your selection) while on a movie>go down to mark as watched. Did that make your flags appear?
2) Did you backup the "textures.xbt" from "skin.aeonmq8\media"? Try this, with that tool I included, extract the textures.xbt to a folder OUTSIDE of "skin.aeonmq8" (like on your desktop)>copy all the files from within "skin.aeonmq8\media" into the new folder with all the extracted resources>overwriting ALL files>when completed, copy all the files (not the new folder) back into "skin.aeonmq8\media" and overwrite everything there.

Note: I haven't updated to the newest version of Multi-Mod, so there may be assets that the skin is looking for that was not included in my archive I provided you. You should definitely do the last part that I suggested.
Note 2: June 12, 2020 update is the last I used, so you should download all the updates from that one to the most recent and extract each one to the external folder (like I suggested creating on on the desktop), overwriting everything until you're at the most recent update. THEN copy all the files from within "skin.aeonmq8\media" over to the extract folder (the one the tool extracted to), overwriting all files, then copy back to "skin.aeonmq8\media" and overwrite everything. This should get you sorted out and have all the latest files that I didn't provide. Sorry for leaving that part out last night, I was tired and forgot all about this.
I now have my flags back and full color icons. Thanks for your help! During this process I did notice an issue that maybe you or someone else could help me with. Before this I noticed that all videos are marked as 8-bit and SDR, regardless of the resolution. Now, they are all marked HDR10+, regardless of the resolution. Any ideas?

You're very welcome, I am so glad I was able to help and am sorry for the delay. Merry Xmas! I replaced all the sdr and hdr media flags with what is showing as HDR10+. You can fix that easily by going to "skin.aeonmq8\media\flagsextras" and you will find the original flags with "- copy" appended to their file names. If you delete the hdr10+ media flags I replaced them with and remove the "- copy" from the originals, all will be fixed. Again, I'm sorry for taking so long to get back. @fuorigioco1981
You need the colored media icons Add-on for the audio/subtitle flags. I have an updated version here.

@fuorigioco1981
The Media Type flag is tied to the Video Codec setting.

Thanks. I got the SDR back. But I still have the other problem. It doesn't matter if my movies and tv shows are 480, 1080, or 4k, they all show as SDR and 8-bit. Does anyone know if this is a skin issue, a kodi issue, or a mariadb issue?

RE: Aeon MQ 8 Multi-Mod - latts9923 - 2020-12-27

@fuorigioco1981
You're welcome!

@Alarmed
If you add ".hdr." and ".10bit." or ".12bit." to the file name of the video it will display the correct flag. You also have two more options...".hdr2." (HDR10+) and ".dv." (Dolby Vision). I don't see these two flags in the colored extras Add-on. I'll have to create them and add them to the Textures file.
