Wait, what happened to the exclusive audio problem from the other thread?
I don't know what to say about your editor, I have enough to do with my software. You can use xbmc or look at the server log when you play a live stream to see how many audio tracks there are in the wtv file, it sounds like your editor is only showing you one of them.

Nevermind. My problem was caused by editing my Windows Audio settings around the time I started the recording. It was probably still set to 2.0 audio when I started.
New recordings work perfectly.
I believe it was asked before, but how do I donate to your efforts Krusty?

I'm guessing is has nothing to do with the addon, rather your editor, I would check the settings of that software and / or seek help on the software's site.

That is what it was. Back end channel number settings. I wonder if this will also fix the issue with channel thumbnails not saving? (I have not posted that issue yet). I will try it and post back.

Logos are not saving after you exit XBMC I use Channel Manager to set the logos. They show up in the EPG, just fine until I exit XBMC and get back in then they are gone.

Sorry, using channel manager for logos is not supported yet (any volunteers?). I focused on making sure wmc logos were imported, but I ignored the rest. I kind of hoped it would work anyway, but it apparently not.

I got it, thanks. The audio stream is AAC which causes the remuxer to fail in the released version of the server, this has been fixed and it will be out in the next release. The weird thing is why it worked for you before... Anyway, the new release will be out soon.
Thanks, i will be looking forward to the next release. Shortly after my last post i was able to get it working once but the error returned after i changed the channel.
WMC as the backend - released - ktjensen - 2013-11-16
After testing for a few days. The same computer is a WMC server and it is running XBMC (and PLEXBMC and PLAYON). Other apps are in the background on my win7-64 machine.
1) SERVERWMC runs well. Does not show any issues when running.
2). The client app in XBMC Runs well for a while. But shutting down and starting back up seems to show more issues. XBMC gets slower and slower each restart. Channels all reloading from clients and like messages.
3). Should I always accept 127.0.0.1 as the default address? Why can I not use the computers own address? Can not connect other computers to the SERVERWMC app.
4). Not sure if this is just an XBMC issue as have had problems with XBMC slow start up. Consistently slow start up.

A new version of the server is up (1095). It contains a large number of changes (see change log). I will try to write up some notes on some of its new features later for the wiki page, but until then feel free to experiment.

Awesome! Thanks for all the hard work guys. Always excited it see new features! I'm particularly excited to test out the new live recording features. That was a big one for me. Hopefully I can drop that dreaded STB off this week and save myself $17/mo. If you guys want to drop some notes in the wiki thread on the new stuff, I'll get it all updated tonight or tomorrow.
I saw mention of having our own forum section. Is that something you guys (devs) would be interested in? I can send some PMs and see what I can do if so...

two things : please add MQ5 and ACE to the supported skins on the wiki.
I am running the latest serverwmc and not able to load one chan. I would like to submit the log and a sample of the chan but cannot find where the recording is. log will come with the tmp recording.

Well if you can get me a primer on accessing files in Bit Bucket.....
Also a hint of where to look for the logo storage. I'm guessing it would need to . be saved in the backend some where. I have to wonder why where is not an option in xbmc to save logos in the front end. It is obvious logos work while xbmc is running. Or is that the backend taking are of the logos while xbmc is up? Still why not have an option to save logos in the front end?
But I think I would want the sub directories to work first.

You have confirmed the series recording dialog displays correctly in both of these skins?
