Anime Setup - SavellM - 2011-07-26 Hi All. So been using XBMC Eden build for awhile. Working nicely, BUT I have just got some anime. Can someone tell me the best way to add this to XBMC? How should I add it? I know there are Anime Scrapers around, which is best? How do I use them? Sorry total nub when it comes to this, so looking for some good help Also do you know of an external scraper, something like Ember Media Manager that I use for movies but for Anime? - SavellM - 2011-07-27 Bump anyone have any ideas? - [vEX] - 2011-07-27 Well, thetvdb.com scraper works pretty good for most anime I have but there's also a scraper for anidb if you want to try that. - aoaaron - 2011-07-27 anidb.net scraper by far. if you want to separate TV shows and animes, create playlists under videos ---> files by 'contains' directory. Organise your animes: e.g. Naruto/Season1/Naruto S01e200 Takes a while, goodle anime renamer and a nice windows app comes up which quickens the process considerably using the "replace x with x' features and quick anime renamer also has a clean up feature for the jargon like [AHQ] and [494894894] on some anime downloads. - bandelguy - 2011-07-27 from the videos menu, click on the files button. Add your anime source, make sure the anime movies and tv shows are properly arranged and named. Select any scraper ffrom Settings - Addons- get addons - Xbmc. org addons - movie information select animedb.net /ANN for animes or TVDB(default tv scraper, no need to install) or TMDB (default movie scraper). You can refer to the follwing wiki: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Adding_Media_Sources You can download Xbne (NFO / xbmc database editor) from the follwing link:- http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=59800 - SavellM - 2011-07-27 Yip so I have Movies and TV Shows as seperate shares. I will make Anime a seperate shared folder too... In video I have Movies, and TV Shows so I'll just add a 3rd called Anime? That should do the trick hey? - aoaaron - 2011-07-27 you have to make a playlist for animes and TV shows. then enable them on your skin for the extra menu. - SavellM - 2011-07-27 Ok, how will the playlist update? Can I make it use the different sources? - [vEX] - 2011-07-27 I just created a separate folder for my anime and added it as a new source (so I can easliy switch the scraper for all my anime if I want). Plus they're on another disk anyway. - SavellM - 2011-07-27 Does that not mean it will use the same tv shortcut in the skin? - [vEX] - 2011-07-28 Yeah it will be listed together with the normal tv series which is fine by me. RE: Anime Setup - Kikerk - 2014-10-05 I think right now AnimeScrape is the best one. It only scrapes anime though. There was another popular one called Wp-anime, but they stopped supporting it, stole my money, and it made my site slow. RE: Anime Setup - siduck - 2019-03-13 guys help me. I'm gonna make an anime website in wordpress so i need an animescraper so that i can scrap all the anime data from an website. I've seen many scrapers but they are paid. but anidb.net s please reply scraper isnt paid and i want to use it .can someone help me installing that scraper or any anime scraper for free? RE: Anime Setup - DJ_Izumi - 2019-03-14 i have some 450 anime series on my server and they're just in a folder called 'Anime Series' and Kodi is told the folder contains series and to use TheTVDB. I do have to number things to fit the TVDB's numbering/seasons scheme but it's no big deal one series at a tme. |
