skin.touched (touch screen skin currently iPad 4x3) - Jezz_X - 2011-08-16
Do not install or use this skin unless you have either touch screen or a mouse connected or you will lose navigation and have to manually change to another
Touched is the default skin on touch devices in XBMC Gotham 13.0
All source code (including the original images and commit history) can be found on our github account at https://github.com/xbmc/skin.touched

Re-Added the big bottom buttons for fat fingers (only real feedback I got was that people preferred them)

EXTRA STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW
* Technically gestures should also work on windows 7 with a recent git master build of xbmc but its not tested so use at own risk
* LINUX IS NOT SUPPORTED. Linux does not have the gesture API hooked up yet so you wont be able to navigate around your media with a touch screen its currently iOS and windows 7 only
* I suggest adding this to your advancedsetting.xml and starting with a fresh userdata dir XBMC's default is 512 and a 256 will make your thumbs load much quicker when scrolling and they never get displayed that big in the skin anyway see here http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Advancedsettings.xml#.3Cthumbsize.3E

* I have also uploaded a nicer weather icon pack to my site that I recommend people use I got the original from here http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=50196 but modified it so it would work with Eden versions of XBMC, so all credit to Bob___ for making it weather.zip just copy it over and replace the same zip in /private/var/stash/Applications.CHXuVl/XBMC.app/XBMCData/XBMCHome/media while xbmc is not running

Windows 7 gestures - lanroth - 2011-08-16
I'm running today's build of XBMC from:
http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/win32/
And 0.8 of skin.touched on Windows 7.
It works beautifully but lists don't scroll when I swipe my touch screen (or with my mouse). They just highlight whatever my finger is over.
Is there something I need to do to enable gestures on Windows 7?
I'm looking forward to using this as a touch screen jukebox.

I do miss the back button from 0.7.1 build the new one seems a little small for my big ass fingers. Excellent progess very exciting stuff for ios users

Duplicate post fail lol I might as well use it to ask another question are there any plans to introduce a showcase view to the skin. I think a showcase skin with fan art support would be the icing on the cake.

I don't know like I said in the original post it should work in theory but maybe while enabling it on iOS Memphiz has accidentally disabled it on Windows 7 I don't have a PC touch screen so can't say if it does or not

Fanart is a Major ass slowdown on the iPad maybe its just my iPad 1 so any view with it slows it right down so no, no plans

Dutch translation. Note: most dutch users are used to english words in the UI's they use so i kept some words instead of forcefully translating them to weird dutch words

While viewing my movies library, the thumbnails are still only showing as a frame grab from the video, no the posters I've assigned through EMM. I'm using the same path substitution that I'm using on my ATV2 and Windows box, and those two are working just fine.
