Dvblogic new version with API - Eson - 2011-09-11
Dvblogic has been developing their software now for a few years and the main purpose of the software has been to enable a multitude of tuner cards and cams to be used in Windows Media Center. At first it was just a bridge between popular softwares such as DVBviewer but eventually they developed their own software for tuning and that is now a very stable tuning software fully comparable with Media Portal TV-engine for example. A linux-version is also coming.
Many people use this software for the ability to use mdapi-plugins in WMC but now they have also released an API for external access to Live-TV, recording, EPG etc. That is why Im posting this here, hopefully an XBMC-client can come out of this. They are developing clients for Android, iPhone/iPad, Windows Phone 7 and Boxee.
I think this could be a very stable and popular choice for TV-server that is compatible with both Windows and Linux.
