Hi,
I am running Ubuntu 11.10, and the pulse-eight xbmc with pvr.
I had an older version of xbmc installed from pulse-eight, and yesterday i deceided to update it, right or wrong, i ran the script available here : https://github.com/Pulse-Eight/xbmc/tree/477e921
The install seemed to work fine, but now the pvr function does not work for me, i am using Mediaportal (on another machine) as backend.
I get this error message : "The PVR manager has been enabled without any enabled PVR add-on. Enable at least one add-on in order to use the PVR functionality."
I have tried disabling/enabling both the pvr manager & the mediaportal addon, restarting my whole os between each change, but no help.
Also found some suggestions that i delete ~/.xbmc/userdata/Database/Addon*.db
file, which i tried, but no change.
Any help on this would be very appreciated, i cannot get any logs at this moment, but if needed i can upload them.

delete ~/.xbmc/userdata/Database/TV*.db
it contains invalid data and can't be upgraded for that reason, which results in the failed load

I ran into this error because I was playing with all the XBMC settings, and turning on options.
Settings | TV Settings | General | I clicked enabled without installing any PVR Addin's. Took me a while to find the setting I turned on, and this was the first forum post I came across with the error message.

i,ve the same proble of mrpg, with my nexbox a95x (android 6,01) and lodi 16.1 jarvis. tried follow opdenkamp suggestion... but problem persist
