2 sets of subtitles - Mr.McGee - 2012-11-30 Hi, Is it possible to have 2 sets of subtitles enabled for a movie? The reason I would need it is as follows: Native english speaker and native french speaker watching a movie in english but one of the characters speaks in another foreign language that requires subtitles for the native english speaker at that point. Hope that makes sense ![]() RE: 2 sets of subtitles - PatK - 2012-11-30 No, but there is a work around if you want to o a bit of effort. Most external .srt subtitle files can be edited with something like notepad++ and will allow viewing of multiple .srt files at the same time, Given that, and using a bit of 'common logic' you could build your own 'special' .srt file with cut & paste techinques. For subtitles embedded into a movie, you would be out of luck unless you could get a hold of the required .srt files for that movie. Give it a shot, it's not that difficult of a task. |
