Frodo with mythtv and hdhomerun prime on ein8 - justinm001 - 2012-12-07
Thinking of switching from media center to xbmc. I tried to install Frodo and mythtv on win8 but couldn't see how to add myth tv to it.
Also will I be able to watch live tv and recorded tv with HD on my hdhomerun prime. I know there's an issue with copy once but most programs don't have that limit I don't think. I have time Warner cable with the cablecard

In order to run the mythtv addon, you need a mythbackend. Which is not available for windows.

If you really want to use windows there are unofficial builds for windows. It is suppose to be able to handle hdhomerun tuners. http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/MythTV_on_Windows#Unofficial_Windows_Pre-Builds
