No EPG Genre Info - Nachteule - 2012-12-19 Hi, currently i am using Frodo RC1 and the mythtv - cmyth addon from the fetzerch Git, fetched and compiled yesterday. But, i can's see any genre info in the EPG data. I looked to the code and i added a debug message to the log which prints the genre variable to the log. And this variable is always 0. If I use MythWeb to look to the TV-Program, Genre will be displayed correctly Is this a bug or a limitation of the PVR addon? Earlier I used vdr as backend and the VNSI addon and with this combination genre Info was display correctly in XBMC. I switched to MythTV because I want to use timeshift and this is currently much more supported by MythTV ------------------------------------------------------------ openSUSE 12.1, MythTV 0.26, USB DVB-T Stick RE: No EPG Genre Info - deadite66 - 2012-12-19 If i go to EPG:Timeline different colours are shown, i assume it's based on the genre so must be storing it somewhere. ![]() RE: No EPG Genre Info - Nachteule - 2012-12-19 Yes, that's correct. I think this information is lost between MythTV an XBMC On my XBMC every title is white on grey :-( which means genre unknown/undefined RE: No EPG Genre Info - sdsnyr94 - 2012-12-19 (2012-12-19, 18:09)Nachteule Wrote: Yes, that's correct. When I switched back to Transparency! or Confluence, everything displayed correctly... so this could be a skin issue you are seeing.
