[AE] Audio drops with using bitstream - Xardos - 2013-01-21 Playerhardware: Geniatech ATV1200 JB4.1.2 XBMC: Pivos-XBMC-Version010813 (Frodo RC3) AVR: Pioneer VSX-921 Hi there, my mediaplayer is connected over HDMI to my AVR. Settings in Android System: HDMI-Passthrough, in XBMC: 2.0 Speaker, DTS-compatible AVR The sound (in movies or music) drops from time to time. AVR display is switching to stereo an back again to dts. It seems to me that the bitstream is incompatible with my AVR. I tried to generate a file advancedsettings.xml: <advancedsettings> <audio> <streamsilence>1</streamsilence> </audio> </advancedsettings> this had no effect. But i read now, Frodo RC3 isĀ“nt support the "streamsilence" parameter. Are the bitstream parameters configurable or what can i do ? RE: [AE] Audio drops with using bitstream - mrwilson251 - 2013-02-14 hey Xardos any luck with this sound issue? im having the same problem with HDMI-Passthrough on a onkyo AVR RE: [AE] Audio drops with using bitstream - fepunk - 2013-03-13 I have the same problem with audio drops time to time when passthrough only by HDMI (wasapi or directsound), by spdif works well; and i dont have any ideas how to end this issue. If XBMC decodes audio and send LPCM works well without drops, but i lose 5.1 windows 8 + amd 6450 (amd driver and realtek driver tested) + frodo HTPC > hdmi > TV > hdmi(arc) > AVR sony (only spdif in and hdmi out) all cables 1.4 RE: [AE] Audio drops with using bitstream - fepunk - 2013-03-20 UPDATE I found what causes my problem, the TV output when passbying 5.1 to AVR. If i set PCM no problem, but i lose 5.1 HTPC > HDMI > TV > HDMI(ARC) > AVR TV model: LG LM6400 |
