PCtv nanostick T2 - pocster - 2013-02-14
Hi all,
Having issues with this.Sometimes (i.e. very rarely) it is recognised in the mythtv setup. Usually though is either error_open or could not get card info. Occasionally it says Sony!
It seems mounted as device /dev/dvb/adaptor0/frontend0
But even if it does find it correctly (like 1 in a 100 times! ) once I leave and run mythfilldatabase it seems to be gone again as the database fails with connection error - which seems strange. If I physically remove the usb tuner filldatabase is ok.
Anyone else having these issues with this usb tuner??
Googled all day and still no real joy.
Any advice welcome!!!

I used to have problems with the 3.2 kernel in ubuntu (precise) 12.04, SD transponders needed a attenuator to reduce the signal before they would be picked up.
since i installed the 3.5 kernel it has been rock solid without the need of the attenuator.
