Question about Plex, Myplex and XBMC Android - zijin_cheng - 2013-03-20 Hi guys, I'm getting a tablet, and want to install XBMC on it. I want to setup a PMS and have XBMC with the pleXBMC plugin. I know that the plugin just plays stuff from your server, but it doesn't change the watched/unwatched/resume flags on the files in the server itself. Is there any way to force XBMC to change the flags on the files? Would plugins like Trackt solve this problem? RE: Question about Plex, Myplex and XBMC Android - hippojay - 2013-03-21 it should do - although I have never tried running it in android. The mechanism is pretty easy, i just need to hit a URL every now and again to update the plex server - however if this doesn't get through, then the status is not updated. Also, you can only do this on servers you own, so there is no updating the status on shared servers through myplex. If you can provide a xbmc.log file (or even better, an xbmc log file with the plexbmc debug setting turned on) - then I should be able to see what s going on. RE: Question about Plex, Myplex and XBMC Android - zijin_cheng - 2013-03-21 Thanks hippojay, just tried it out and it works without trakt! |
