What's the roundup on various roms for the amlogic m3 boxes? - alan1977 - 2013-06-06

Sorry to post here but im going round in circles
bought a "tv box" which is basically an unbranded g-box midnight, cant remember what hardwarerevision it is right this second...

Anyway.. immidiately put jinx linux beta 2 build on it... works well, however i realised i cant easily install linux apps (i hadplanned to put some old school emulators on there and roms)
so i went to a g-box midnight rom.. not overly impressed, i can put android apps on which is great, but the xbmc interface... has delays at times...and the output is 720 only
Havent tried static's build yet...
There are loads of linux/android builds available for this hardware.... i "think" i want an android based rom which just works...
however. if the android roms arent really that great... what's the main differences between all the lunux romsHuh? and do they support 1920??

thanks

J1NX linux XBMC is enough for your running XBMC , it is very good on the box (2.2 i am sure)
