help with a few skin questions - kuglersh - 2013-07-22 hi i tried both local forums and searched all over the net before i started to bother you Ronnie. i have got a couple of skin setting questions. 1. when i press info on a movie i get the page. on the bottom there is the plot and you can either scroll down or press + to see the plot in one page. is there any possible way for me to set it as default? 2.movie and music genre icons are all the same is there any way to change them into custom ones? i am using openelec 3.1 with your skin thanks in advance RE: help with a few skin questions - ronie - 2013-07-22 1. nope, that isn't possible 2. Transparency! contains two sets of genre icons, one for movies and one for music. so, i'm not sure why you state they are all the same.... if you want to use your own, you'd need to do some skin hacking. create these two folders: - skin.transparency/media/moviegenres - skin.transparency/media/musicgenres and store you custom genre images in there. use this naming scheme: <genrename>.jpg next edit these files: - View-Fanart.xml - View-List.xml - View-Thumbnail in those files, replace all occurrences of: - foldericons/genre/movies/... - foldericons/genre/music/... to: - moviegenres/... - musicgenres/... RE: help with a few skin questions - kuglersh - 2013-07-23 Hi Ronie thank you for the prompt response! i am using openelec 3.1.3 when i ssh in i go to .xbmc/addons/skin.transparency and the folder you talk about is no were to be found RE: help with a few skin questions - ronie - 2013-07-23 (2013-07-23, 08:31)kuglersh Wrote: Hi Ronie there should be a media folder: .xbmc/addons/skin.transparency/media |
