XBMC 12.2 & iOS XBMC Remote app - magilla - 2013-08-06
Hi There,
I tried searching through here for issues similar to mine, but couldn't find anything, so thought I'd start a thread.
I just re-built my media PC over the weekend. I upgraded to Windows 8 & XBMC12.2. However, since doing so, I've been unable to get my XBMC remote app on my iPhone 5 to work. It worked fine when I was running Windows 7 a& an earlier version of XBMC (No idea what version that was). Even since I've upgraded to windows 8, I can configure my XBMC remote app ok, and it says I'm connected, but the buttons don't do anything when I press them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please advise if you need any further info & i'll do my best to grab it, I'm at work, so I may be limited as to what info I can provide.

Hi, it's maybe a windows firewall issue? Here I've tested the remote app with XBMC 12.2 without any trouble.
