No Artist and Album info for FLAC files - crouthamela - 2013-12-11 Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting my Music to scan properly? I have FLAC files I ripped with EAC, I confirmed the metadata/Vorbis comments are valid with mp3tag and VLC. The files are in the format of: Artist Folder > Album Folder > ## Track Name.flac. When I add the main Music folder that contains all that, it doesn't appear to scan/scrape for Artist/Album info. I do have the Universal Artist/Album add-ons enabled. What step am I missing? RE: No Artist and Album info for FLAC files - whitebelly - 2013-12-11 Folder structure does not matter. Check to see that 'album artist' tags are properly filled. RE: No Artist and Album info for FLAC files - scott967 - 2013-12-12 You can usually figure out what is happening by turning on debug log mode and looking at the xbmc.log after attempting to scrape your music (starts with the string OnScan or OnUpdate). You have to tell XBMC to update or scan, it doesn't do it just adding a source (if that's what you did). scott s. . RE: No Artist and Album info for FLAC files - crouthamela - 2013-12-12 whitebelly: Yeah I checked a bunch of files, Artist and Album are in there scott967: I tried another scan and now it's working. Not sure if I was just being dumb or what. I think I'm OK now. I'll update if otherwise. |
