- jaja06 - 2004-03-05 hello all, just a quick question concerning the patches integration into the cvs source. i did submit some patches the last weeks, one on the weather module localization has been integrate into the cvs tree , but the last 2 i submit (osd display) have still not be integrated. ![]() i guess i missed something or did something wrong. let me know the right process since i really like to help on this great xbmc project ![]() thanks - Frodo - 2004-03-05 i saw your patches. i didnt react yet on them cause forza was/is working on a new osd. anyway i dont really like your patches. first of all its dedicated. i would like to b able to turn it on/off cause i have an lcd and dont want my play button to cycle through information second: i want the information to disappear after 2-3 seconds now it stays onscreen third: your patches dont work for ntsc cause the playtime then is offscreen frodo - jaja06 - 2004-03-05 can't wait for the official version ![]() thanks for your valid comments. in fact i was working on a new version with a settings->general-> osd display that was allowing to select the information to display (clock, eta, current, movie name), how it was displayed (key, timeout), where it was dispayed (top, bottom), but it's a lot of changes and i'm starting to get some conflicts, so i guess i will now wait for for the official version. quick question: what the best way to test display on the needed configurations (pal/ntsc 4/3-16/9) thanks jaja06 ps : xbmc just rock , you guys rock ![]() |
