XBMC Remote App (iPhone iOS Android Windows 8/RT) with PVR Support - JazJon - 2014-02-26
Does anyone know if the XMBC App (iPhone/iPad iOS, Android/Tablet, Windows 8/RT) is being updated to support PVR? (near future hopefully)
The XBMC experience won't be complete until the official or 3rd party XBMC mobile app supports PVR. The ability to browse recordings, EPG, etc

PVR stuff already works on all supported platforms for XBMC (but i dont think iPhone iPad or Windows RT are among those).
I have a gotham nightly for android running on my HTC One phone and the PVR stuff works pretty well using our addon. The problem with android is there is heaps of difference in video codec/library support etc and a large number of yumcha "tv sticks" and "media devices" so things can sometimes be hit and miss.
Infact, just so you know, the exact same XBMC source code runs on all supported devices including android, there is no separate code base

Excellent, I'll have to wait for the iOS version to catch up then. I'm a Windows 8.1 guy and iPhone user for Mobile. (some light iPad, but would use it more for XBMC)

The Ceton My Media Center App might be a good work around for now.
I just asked if Ceton can add XBMC PVR support, so I can touch shows I want to play on my XBMC instead of Media Center. (via iPhone/iPad/Android)
