cmyth buffering settings - NoHesitation - 2014-03-18 Is there a way to set how much LiveTV buffers before starting playback? I know that XBMC has an option for it in advancedsettings, but I am not sure it will work for cmyth (if it does, please correct me) The reason for doing this is: I have a box set up to connect via OpenVPN to my home network, so I can watch my TV/Movies/Etc anywhere I have an internet connection. The machine works flawlessly, except that in the case of a less than optimal internet connection, playback occasionally pauses while buffering happens. I would love to be able to manually set it to buffer like 5 minutes ahead, or 50MB ahead, or whatever. Is this possible? RE: cmyth buffering settings - puithove - 2014-03-19 There's pvr specific buffer settings: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=159142 RE: cmyth buffering settings - NoHesitation - 2014-03-19 Thanks! That was exactly what I was looking for. I must have been searching for the wrong terms. |
