OpenElec,RaspberryPi - No Picture using cmyth - mobrien118 - 2014-04-04 Hello! I'm trying to get live TV working on my Openelec RaspberryPis (running the new beta 4 which uses XBMC 13.0 - beta). I have the cmyth plugin working on 2 other computers, both running Linux, and the picture looks good. When I try to play TV on OpenElec, the guide shows up, I pick a channel, it says "buffering"... then... I can HEAR the TV but all I see is the 3d equilizer (my audio visualization)!!! Maybe it's just a simple setting issue, maybe more. The fact that I can see it on my other Linux machines... well, you get the point. Is there any log file I can try to look at? Any basic settings that I might be missing? Any ideas where to start? I posted this question in the OpenELEC forum, too, but it doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic and maybe this is just a general XBMC issue or something, so I figured maybe it would come in handy here for people too. Thanks, in advance, for any help!! --mobrien118 RE: OpenElec,RaspberryPi - No Picture using cmyth - rushingjs - 2014-04-04 Did you buy an MPEG2 license from the raspberry pi foundation? http://www.raspberrypi.com/mpeg-2-license-key/ If you didn't, this is probably your problem. You'll put the license in the config.txt For more info on that: http://elinux.org/RPiconfig RE: OpenElec,RaspberryPi - No Picture using cmyth - mobrien118 - 2014-04-05 That absolutely was it!! I should have known... Thanks!!! |
